    The media could not be loaded. A perfect introduction to diamond/gem painting in bite-sized coaster-form. It's fun, creative and very colourful, and it also comes with a convenient stand to store all your coasters in once you're finished creating them. Unfortunately it did not come with enough bags to store the gems in, and no means of marking the bags to indicate which gems they are. Luckily I had some spare mini bags which I used (I had only received about half the amount of bags I needed - there are 23 different types of gems) and I used a sharpie to mark the bags. It's also worth noting that some of the designs had printed off-set (not quite in the centre) which was a big annoying, and you had to assemble the coaster side to the corkboard-side yourself (peel and stick) which could also result in some off-setting. All that said, I still think this is a great set and perfect for kids, just make sure that you have some storage sorted out for the gems otherwise they will end up going everywhere, they're quite small!

    This diamond art set has everything i and my younger family member need to make 8 coasters with all the diamonds needed plus plenty extra is a bonus and the coasters themselves are made from what looks like acrylic with the corresponding numbered areas for the specific diamonds to go into the pattern. As a family who loves to do the diamond art I thought this would be the same as the previous art and book marks etc we’ve done and where this is the same it takes me away from all the stresses while is fun for the younger ones. Where this fails in my view is it doesn’t matter the age range for this item if it’s to make coasters it needs to work for this but for me this isn’t any good to use as actual coasters as the diamonds aren’t flat, they’re not sealed with anything to protect them, when I think about if some hot drink is spilt or a cold drink with ice drips with the condensation down the sides. I’m sure we can use these for something I’m not sure what yet but not for what it’s supposed to be. That said the kit at the time of ordering was £12.74 which isn’t a bad price regardless especially for the 8 pieces as art in their own right regardless of what they’re supposed to be for.

    Bought for my granddaughters birthday. She likes arts and crafts. Looks smaller than expected. However, I am sure my granddaughter will enjoy making glittering coasters .

    Just opened this with my neice and sadly the film pealed off incorrectly. The quality of the box and presentation and coasters, and the jewels, isn't good for a gift.
