I got these as a cheaper but fairly well reviewed replacement for some Brooks trainers. Too late I read that they may be a bit narrow in the toe area, so I was a little bit dubious to start with.Having worn them for a few local strolls, I decided to bite the bullet and take them for a run. I've only done a couple of runs in them, totalling 14km/ 8.75m, but they feel great and snug rather than narrow. They've only been tried on pavement so far. My longer runs tend to be a mixture of surfaces though, and the grips seem pretty good so I have no concerns.As with anything like this, check the prices when you are in the market for new trainers. At the right price, these are a cracking pair of trainers. (I run 20-30 km p/wk, so can recommend them for that level of use.)
