5.0 out of 5 stars My first and best foldable.
(function(){ P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function'){ A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })() All that you expect from. A pixel and this time in a foldable. Great cover screen and large canvas when unfolded. Everything you love about a pixel with great cameras. I bought new 18 months after it's introduction and absolutely love it. The 5.8" screen is perfect in the hand and it is still considered thin despite other brands newer offerings. It has a luxury feel and a satisfying weight. It doesn't open a full 180 degrees to lay flat but who cares, the camera bump means it would never lay flat on a surface anyway. Ibeasily gotva days use from. Facebook, you tube and other media as well as news and weather content. The cover screen is good for most content and does save on battery life as opposed to using in open state. I would recommend this phone even though Googles updated version is now available. The Bolo price of £800 for new was attractive given the launch price of £1800 and cheaper than the new version.
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy it! The worst phone ever. Read for more information!
At the beginning it's looking nice phone combination of tablet and phone. But after 2, 3 weeks every one will realise how bad it is. Very heavy, the screen inside will start making problems very soon, I have mine for not more than 4 months and the problems start after 2 weeks. At the beginning some small arrows, than bigger now it's not working at all. Long time ago have Motorola that you can fold and it was much better than this. For someone that always have Google phones from the beginning it's hard to say this but don't buy Google fold phone, will regret. Every other phone is better choice. Battery life also is rubbish. To heavy, not good size to wear it, bad battery life, bad folding screen. No, no and no. Don't be like me. Don't do that mistake.!!!! Give one star because it's have no option - 9999 stars
Best phone to date
(function(){ P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function'){ A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })() The price was steep but I've been waiting for about four years for Google to make a foldable. The Google experience is next to none so for me a Pixel phone is a must. The dimensions are perfect and when you unfold it, it's like holding a book. It doesn't fold flat but that doesn't bother me. A few apps don't take up the entire screen when unfolded but most of the apps I use do. I would prefer the fingerprint scanner on the back rather than on the side but that's not a deal breaker. All in all, I can't see myself going back to regular phone.
Davvero troppo alto in Italia e in generale. Attendiamo altro prezzo e altra versione nel frattempo però è per me il top dell'esperienza Androidiana.,
Best version of a foldable phone
I want to point out that I've had the Samsung Z Flip 4 and 5 before swapping to the Pixel Fold. By FAR I prefer this phone's size, layout, and features compared to Samsung. My most favorite feature is the (currently) Pixel-exclusive feature to have Google assistant screen calls. Let me be honest, I would rather communicate via smoke signal than over the phone--and this feature makes handling calls so much easier. It will automatically activate for sketchy calls, but I have the opportunity to activate it for other calls. Since I use this phone in Dual SIM mode for my personal and work lines, I enjoy being able to have the Google Assistant answer the calls on my work line, many times where the person calling me could've texted or emailed... I can type in a response and the assistant will read it to the caller lol. Another personal favorite with this phone is the Kindle app feeling more book-like. I've since swapped away from my actual e-reader for the convenience of not needing to carry another device. Hands down the best phone I've owned (from apple to android).
Great foldable!
The phone size is perfect, open or closed. I still own the original surface duo and this comes as close as any foldable to that one, which I liked. However, the cameras on this phone are fantastic! Slightly better than my Galaxy S20 Ultra but Samsung perhaps has improved since then. The phone does not come with dedicated pen support but there are a few that work reasonably well with it. If you want a dedicated pen, then the Samsung fold would be a better fit. I'm satisfied with my Pixel Fold so far.
Nice phone when it worked. Warranty support is just 1 year......
It was a nice phone when it worked. My first folding phone. However, after 13 months of ownership the front screen went dead. Google - based on ticking the box unresponsive screen, gave a 769 usd estimate for a fix. Yeah right. Somehow a 12 month warranty on such an expensive phone is criminal. Its a good product but Google customer support and warranty sucks.
