    The clip is unstable.The joint is loose and it keeps slipping on its own weight depending on the angle and position.It might work if you are clipping on a very stable laptop, angled exactly at 90 degrees. If you're using it on a phone (much smaller surface area + thicker) and/ or in an awkward angle, it won't be of much use.

    I was happy with how the product worked however it slid off the bed onto the wooden floor and wouldn’t work after that! I didn’t think it would break so easy.

    These mini video lights are of fairly modest brightness but their versatility makes them a no brainer. They utilise two innovations that have been a quiet game changer in the last 20-25 years- LED lights and lithium batteries with the technology coming of age as it has become super affordable. This comes with charge out of the box and I haven't charged it up yet. I just use it for vlogging, as it helps my camera light sensor work less hard and ultimately produce a finer, less grainy image. If you don't have white balance this is very handy as it has its own basic temperature options one being a warm option which should approximate what you have indoors.I generally find the clamp to be fit for purpose. It gets a purchase on top of my monitor without snapping off and can adapt to other kinds of object about an inch in depth. The tilting head is also really useful and If you can't clamp it the clamp can be turned into a base. In other words, the light becomes self-supporting on a flat surface. If that doesn't work, you can always hold it like the old style photographs hold fill lights, which is what this is, essentially.To really go pro you do need more power; it's not going to throw out anything like what is used by a decent studio light but you'll find in lots of situations like a cloudy day or a room that is just a little dim the difference this makes counts. For the money, you can't go wrong. A small light is better than no light.

    This is a nice LED light with 3 colour temperatures and 5 brightness levels that are easily selectable. I like that the clip has a cutout to allow you to clip directly on the center of your laptop or phone permitting the self camera to work while the light is clipped on. Also using it for Zoom calls etc as well as staging photos of small objects. Very handy to have.
