Not the usual good sound quality from Mystery, it's a thicker, and not total clear sound, which is disappointing, as I'm a big fan of their music, never mind the cost of buying an album that I will not listen to any more than once.

Michel St-Père and company unleash their beautiful, powerful and distinctively creative new studio production. These superb musicians intertwine like clockwork with the intricate timing, brilliant collaborative musical contributions. intelligent lyrical messages and outstanding lead vocals that have become trademarks with Canada's premier progressive rock act.Yet there's no "holier than though" attitude from this humble band simply working to enrich our minds with their outstanding talent.Having recently placed an order for some rare collector music and official band merchandise on their website (therealmystery DOT com), I called to check the tracking info and spoke directly to Michel St-Père himself. He was so friendly that I gained a new level of respect for someone most would assume to be an inaccessible genius songwriter, guitarist and producer. He seemed as honoured to be speaking with a fan as I was suddenly speaking unexpectedly with the CEO of a magnificent band that I've worshipped for decades.Few bands offer such a large volume of CDs, LPs, DVD/BluRay concert videos, rare recordings and artistic collectable band merchandise on a self managed website. Few bands have managed to gain such a faithful international following of dedicated fans and keep them continuously mesmerized over the years with their expanding creative talent.Every live concert or studio masterpiece is worthy of several front to back deep listening sessions . . . With the lights dimmed . . . IPhones turned off . . . Music cranked up on a great sound system . . . With absolutely no distractions until the magic of Mystery has a chance to take it's transformational effect on your mind and spirit.Buy any Mystery release and you won't be satisfied until you collect everything they've ever produced. It's all excellent.
Best Mystery ever?
Ich bin seit ca 15 Jahren Fan dieser kanadischen Band und hatte 2018 beim Erscheinen der damals neuen CD den Eindruck, die Band wiederholt sich nur noch.Bei der neuen CD ist das anders. Natürlich erkennt man die Band nach wenigen Sekunden.Sie haben sich nicht komplett neu erfunden. Auch die Songlänge ist mit 5 bis knapp 20 Minuten typisch. Aber es fällt schon mal auf,dass erstmalig nicht auf dem Cover steht "All Songs by Michel St.Pere". Er hat immer noch den größten Anteil an den Kompositionen, aber eben nicht mehr an allen. Und das hört man. Erfrischende Harmonien,kraftvoller Progrock, Tempowechsel, auch schöne ruhige Titel bieten Mystery. Ich habe die CD heute bereits 2x gehört ( 8 Titel, insgesamt 74 Minuten) und bin begeistert. Für mich zumindest eines ihrer besten Alben, wenn nicht sogar das beste. Und die Besetzung ist seit 2014 konstant, eher untypisch für Mystery. auf jeden Fall: Klare Kaufempfehlung!!

Stabil platta
Efterlängtad platta som håller hög klass som vanligt när vi snackar Mystery. Kanske saknar den där riktiga kanonlåten, men stabil och säker. Inte ett dåligt spår.
