5.0 out of 5 stars Nice clear display
I like the display and the count down for the toast to complete
5.0 out of 5 stars Good
Nice toaster browns bread nicely but not as deep as expected so have to turn half way through
4.0 out of 5 stars Wide slots
Excellent toaster but very thinly constructed and lightweight but does the job well
5.0 out of 5 stars Really Great Toaster
It is excellent and works really well
3.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced but gets the job done
The advantages of this toaster is the LED timer, that lets you know how much time is remaining, it toasts farily fast, and its size. However, there are two disadvantages. First it has a very flimsy feel to it. Being stainless steel and for its price you would expect a feeling of being sturdy. It is very light and has almost plastic feel to it. Second disadvantage, the toast does not have a very powerful 'pop up' that makes the toast jump when it is done. Instead, once it is done toasting, it is very anticlimatic and disappointing. If you are looking for a toaster, in my opinion, this not a remarkable toaster, and for the price, I feel it is over-priced. Nonetheles it toast fasts and the timer is quite handy. Personally, I would have been happier and I would have given this 5 stars if this was priced in the mid-£30 to low-£40 range.
5.0 out of 5 stars Toast
Works very well love the digital count down on it
1.0 out of 5 stars Loses it's power over time
Had this toaster just under a month and have had to return it. Firstly it was very good looking and seemed to work well. The first problem I noticed, I like to have Scotch Pancakes for breakfast at the weekend and these pancakes a quite thin. When I placed them in the toaster one slipped down the side of the tongues that support the product causing it to get stuck between the tongues and the grill and I had great difficulty in fishing it out. From this moment I had taken to being very careful when put the pancakes into the slot , we never had this issue with our old Russell Hobbs toaster. Then this happened again a couple of weeks ago when one of my pancakes was ejected from the toaster and then when it fell back in it again got trapped between the supporting tongues and the grill. The other problem that we have found is that the toasting seems to have dropped off from when new. When we first bought it toast would toast to a satisfactory toastyness on setting 4 but we found that as the weeks went by we have had to increase the setting to 5 and then finally to 6 and the toast was still not toasted enough. So today I have returned for a refund, thankfully as we bought this during the Christmas period we were given 30 days return window. I have now bought a Russell Hobbs 4 slice toaster (similar to our old one that we'd had for years) with all the same features from Argos at halve the price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cusimax 4 slot toaster
This toaster is superb and produces the best toast I've ever eaten. It's very easy to use and adjust depending on personal preference re browning of toast. I particularly like the wide slots which means the thickest bread can be toasted to perfection and it's great to have a countdown timer on the digital display. Looks very stylish and well made out of stainless steel.
So far...A Great Toaster !!!
I've had this a few weeks...and so far, it's Great.I compared several brands, prices, and reviews,...and decided to purchase this toaster for $59.99.When I went to place my order there was a $20 off coupon. 😃. 👍. I was very happy,Even happier after using it.It's well worth the $60, and a even better deal at $40.It looks great. (All Stainless Steel), large slots, lighted buttons, and the darkness/lightness knobs adjust in small, nice, crisp, clicking increments. It toasts great. I haven't tried the defrost function yet, but the toast, bagel, and cancel functions work great.IF, I was being picky, The only things that I would, or could complain about would be,....The power cord, Is definitely, short, and could be longer,...And, it's definitely a fingerprint magnet, but that's to be expected with Stainless Steel, especially the top + front which is pollished. But, being S.S. , that's what makes it look great, and also makes it easy to clean. It is also, Very, (Surprisingly so) , light in weight.Like I said, those were only if I was being picky!I've only had it a few weeks, so time will tell, as to longevity. I will update this review + rating if my opinions change, or any problems arise.I'm very happy that I chose to buy, this specific toaster, over the other's that I compared it to, and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great looking, + great functioning, toaster, at a great price.
After a purchase and return, the CUSIMAX proved the best toaster option
After our 8 year old Cuisinart became unreliable, we purchased a toaster whose greatest feature was its wide and extra long bread slot. For specialty breads with larger, longer slices, the ability to fit the bread into the slot was appealing. However, the toaster, H-Beach, gave inconsistent results; dark on one side..light on the other. Also, there were "stripe" marks and, at times, variable toasting from top to bottom. THEN, the Cusimax came up as an option. It has lit indicators for bread types and a countdown timer, so one can see the toast progress. Both sides come out evenly and with no light stripes. The crumb tray catches debris well (the Cuisinart dropped crumbs even with the catch tray in place.) Th slots are extra wide but not as long as the H_B but it is adequate got larger slices. A good toaster seems a simple task but some are better than others. The Cusimax is a winner for us.
Looks good, works good
Bought this toaster for our expanding family needs. Looks great on the counter, and works very well. Has a defrost option that we use on frozen bread/bagels, and also has a bagel option which warms one side of a sliced bagel hotter than the other side. Once you figure out how to use the bagel setting properly you are good to go, though it would have been nice had they marked which side of the bagel would be getting the extra heat, so you know how to insert the bagel slices.Sometimes we have found that the exact same setting (untouched) browns our toast more than other times. It's fine (we haven't tossed any toast out because of it), but the inconsistency has knocked it down one star. But most of the time (say 8 or 9 times out of 10) it operates perfectly.
Works great!
I like everything about this product.
Fits long and wide bread
This is the second toaster I bought this time after the first one had to be returned because it didn't fit a wider slice of bread. This one does.I chose the black and stainless because I was concerned about fingerprints, I'm happy with the look.It was hard to get rid of my old toaster, I tried 3 times in 15 years, it was well past time, frayed wire, burning toast but no replacement was good enough until this one.I like the digital countdown feature and the toast comes out accurate to the setting. It even has a little room to lift the toast out which is very nice.Spendy for a simple toaster though.
