5.0 out of 5 stars Didn’t think I ‘needed ‘ one … but I do 🤗
My son has been extolling the virtues of getting an air fryer for months ( there’s one at his dad’s house) and I’ve consistently said ‘ we don’t need one’ . However, I was going away for a week and wanted something he could use to cook quick meals for himself . I was going to get a Ninja but didn’t want to waste too much money on something I thought would be relegated to the back of the cupboard. The Tower brand came highly recommended at a fraction of the price - I bought the 3.8l on a deal of the day offer on Prime for about £38.I’ve had it now for three weeks … I use it almost every day. In fact my current catchphrase is ‘I made it in my air fryer’ . What a nifty bit of kit! 3.8l is plenty big enough for 2 servings . I bought liners so it’s still as good as new. We use it for all the basics - chips, fishfingers, nuggets, burgers, hash browns but it’s also excellent for chicken portions, salmon , I bake baguettes in it, scotch pancakes … I’ve got an air fryer recipe book and will definitely use it for cookies and muffins. It’s a breeze to clean- just pop the tray in warm soapy water and I use kitchen roll to wipe inside . It cooks things really quickly , is economical to use . Usually if I’m reheating something like cottage pie I just zap it in the microwave but this means the potato isn’t crispy on top. Now I reheat things in the air fryer . Also if we eat at different times I don’t have to put the oven on , I air fried Yorkshire puddings last week , I’ve reheated lasagne and at breakfast I throw in a couple of frozen pancakes or pain au chocolate. It’s great if you get fast food delivered and the chips have gone cold - just a few mins in the air fryer and they crisp up . It’s super easy to use- mine is the manual model ( again it was the cheaper option) - a dial to set the temperature and a dial to set the time . Plus there are a few time/temp suggestions on the lid to get you started . I have a tiny kitchen and this takes up minimal space . I also chose this particular model because I loved the blue and gold aesthetic, it looks really nice .The real bonus is my teenage son is now quite capable of getting his own tea sorted without me worrying about him setting fire to himself . Double bonus is he’s also very capable of washing up after himself - no greasy pans or baking trays.I heard loads of people who owned air fryers saying “ I hardly use my oven “ and I was skeptical. But now I believe the hype .It’s a great bit of functional kit which cuts down on time and energy. Economical to run, easy to clean … highly recommend .

5.0 out of 5 stars Saves money and is quick and easy to use.
I am a pretty plain and boring eater. Decided to try an air fryer not expecting much. But for somebody on their own or cooking for one. Or even a small family. This saves so much money over the month compared to using an oven and so much time.I am sure those who like to experiment will be able to find far more meals and usage. But for somebody who likes simple meals and wants something easy to use. This Air Fryer Oven is superb.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fast cooking and save energy
The air fryer looks smart on the worktop. It's easy to use and it cooks food quickly and it tastes good. While you'd wait for the big oven to heat to the required temperature, you can cook your meal in the air fryer, so it's great to cook a meal quickly. Most often used for frozen fish and chips, or fish fingers, but I have made my own chips, cooked chicken breasts, pork steaks (cut the fat away). Spray a little oil on the meat or your own chipped potatoes. I use a meat thermometer to check the temperature of meat. You can buy silicone liners but I use baking paper liners to save on washing up the air fryer basket. It's not too noisy but you can hear the fan. There's not much smell of food cooking until you open the basket. Food tastes delicious! Oh yes, and it's great for cooking part-baked bread rolls. Just damp the surface of each roll, place in the basket and you have freshly baked bread rolls in about 4 minutes. My friend has cooked scones in hers so I will try that next.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant air fryer
This is a brilliant air fryer. It has a big enough capacity for a family of 5 and cooks fast. It has built in settings for chips, chicken, meat, etc and also you can make up your own time and temperature. Great value for money and great performance. I recommend also getting silicone basket liners to help keep it clean.
