Used so far to repair two old hardback comic annuals from the 80s (which had part ruined spines).Seems to have done a good job, but I am worried about how well it will work as time passes...but so far, so good.I'll be back to amend my review if anything changes.

This does work pretty well - you can see in the photo I used it to repair the spine of a hardback reference book. But. . . I've seen cloth repair tape, where it's cloth on the outside - but this just feels like regular duct tape. You can get cheaper duct tape which feels the same level of quality, so for that reason I'm giving four stars - it's good, and I like it and it did the job, but I don't think it's the best value, and not quite what I was expecting.

This is most definitely NOT bookbinding tape. This is overpriced duct tape with acidic adhesive. It will rot your books. Do not use. It's super misleading to market this as "cloth" tape when it's cheap vinyl.
