I decided to pay a little more on an eye mask amd it had been worth every penny. It totally blocks the light (I live in a very lit area) specially because of the feature on the nose, which is usually where the light comes through.I disagree with other reviews that say it's not comfortable to sleep on your side, this mask is so soft that it does not matter what position you are. All you need to do is tighten it a bit more if it's sliding on your face.

I bought some satin silk to put around the elastic because it completely trashed my hair. Also the fabric is... not ideal and makes you sweat. BUT it does blackout all light and I love the fact that it's padded and stops my eyelashes from being trapped. I'd prefer the fabric to be something soft because it's like... executive tent fabric...is the only way I can describe it... or maybe the same fabric as a really posh waterproof jacket. Yes, fancier than tent fabric and softer but it is not pleasant on my skin. As an AUDHDer the sensation of it against my skin is often intolerable.

It's very soft against the face. I get a minor crack of light coming through from below, but I dont have it that tight and the elastic is adjustable, so you might be able to eliminate this if needed. It's good enough for me! I'm guessing it cuts out 95% of light and when dawn is at 4.30am this is very helpful. I think I am sleeping better with it; it feels soothing and relaxing to wear and I seem to be going to sleep faster which is AWESOME, if you are insomniac who has had too many nights of staring at the ceiling til 6am, this is a God-send.It pushes against the face a bit if you sleep on your side but I have found it not really that big of an inconvenience. And it might fall off or move out of position by the morning, depending on how much you move about when asleep.I also accidentally put one through the 90 deg wash as it ended up in the bedding by mistake, and am pleased to report that it survived completely intact with no harm done.Conclusion: Brilliant for a fiver.

Good product, nice and soft and light weight on the face. Good quality. Doesn't slip off the face and you can adjust the size of the strap to make it tighter if needed. Would recommend.

This works fabulous if you sleep on your back & don't move, however if you turn on to your side it moves & is uncomfortable resulting in a disturbed sleep trying to adjust it. I do like the fact that it isn't resting on your eyelids. This is, of course my personal view

Appears well made with very comfortable padding. The shape & thickness excludes light very effectively.

Blocks out all light, I find it slightly uncomfortable if I sleep on my side as it seems to be pushed over when laying down but is on the whole comfortable and easy to wear.
