    The media could not be loaded. Good quality product!The wax is easy to mold with use of vaseline I advise you use a clear compact powder to reduce shine I just had a little play around to test it out but honestly can't wait to do some bigger piecesRemoval is easy I showed a video of how easy the wax can be scraped off fake blood stains a little but alcohol wipes remove it

    Opened the product to find the sponges stained and the inside of the box too. Blood bottle missing seal.Whether this was reboxed and presented as new or has poor quality checks idk but for £20…No thank you

    Too much faffing about with scar and other products. I used old latex & cotton with tissue at the end so spent to much on the set for no reason

    So, full disclosure - I've since found out that the product I was looking for is actually known as "scar wax" - and got this silicone moulding kit to create some effects ready for Halloween... I've since gotten some scar wax also - and I'll try and help people understand what's what in this quick review...!So, first things first... this SFX kit is great. There's not much in the kit, but there's enough for several small projects. A couple of observations...1. The consistency once mixed is like vaseline - it's soft, and not like plasticine/ clay - which is what I thought (This is exactly what Scar Wax is!)2. The mixture didn't cure that quickly for me - I was pretty meticulous to make sure it was measured and mixed right, and we were certainly using it at room temperature!3. Painting after curing was hit and miss... there was a lot of resistance to the make-up, so this took some work4. The end result was great... the result was firm, lasted well, and quite robust.So... original idea was to 'mould' the cuts and wounds, like with plasticine... which is why at first I was not too sure of this product. Once we realised how this works, though, which is a little different to 'moulding' (this silicone is more like 'building/ layering' than sculpting) then it's clear that both this and scar wax have their place.The key thing for me is that if you can work with this silicone, it's far more durable and reliable than scar wax in the long term. Now I am clearer on the differences, I think this silicone is going to be better for our Halloween fancy dress, which will be worn all night, than scar wax - which may not be as durable.So, overall, this is a great learning process and this product has helped me understand that this is a better product for my needs. Fantastic! (Even though it's harder work than scar wax!)Thumbs-up!

    I gave it 5 stars because it does what it’s supposed to but it solidifies VERY QUICKLY! That could be because I’m not so experienced with it but I would definitely suggest mixing it in VERY small batches!

    This product is better than other silicone molding compounds. It has a gel like consistency that applies better to the skin where as other molding compounds has more of a waxy like consistency. 5 out of 5
