It looks fantastic and enough weight on the base to keep it upright, nice ring on top of spindle for easy carrying etc.Unfortunately the matt surface become shiny when any oil splatter get on to it, we keep it handy near the stove but it is an nightmare to keep it clean. If just wipe clean with oil on it, it will turn shiny which makes it look a lot more dirty than it is.

Bought for my son's apartment - perfect for him.
A bit light weight
This towel holder is a bit light weight but does the job. It has a tendency to move when taking a towel off.I had a stick on pad made by scotch brand made to stop furniture from moving on hardwood floors. I cut it in quarters and put them on the bottom and it makes it a bit more secure and stopped it from sliding.

No way!
Unfortunately a part of the newly arrived paper towel holder was rusted! I put it back in the box unopened and returned it immediately. I would not recommend this product.
