The media could not be loaded. I’ve noticed some slight ‘blooming’ in darker scenes, but I don’t consider it a major issue, especially as I primarily use this TV for gaming, and it excels in that regard. It offers everything you could possibly need for console gaming, with an impressive 2000 nits of brightness, which is remarkable given its price when I purchased it (£799). The 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Sound, and Dolby Vision all enhance the experience, and the built-in subwoofer is superb—so much so that I didn’t feel the need for a soundbar. While I don’t claim to be a television expert, from my perspective, there’s little to criticise about this TV. If I were being particularly picky, I’d point out that it doesn’t support Dolby Vision at 4K 120Hz with VRR, but honestly, that’s not a concern for me. Overall, this television offers exceptional value for money, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quality product at a reasonable price.

1.0 out of 5 stars IF YOU ARE A GAMER STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONSTRUOSITY
Now that Black Friday is coming I want to warn anyone thinking about buying this TV for gaming purposes.DO NOT BUY IT.Now don't get me wrong the image and options on the TV are great if all you want is to watch movies. But the moment you want to play anything that is moment you will regret having bought it.One of the biggest features here is the support for 120Hz consoles and VRR, well oh boy, is bad, the moment any VRR or 120Hz contents is detected this TV turns into an ugly mess, motion is bad, jerky, flickery oh god I am so mad with this TV.The worst part is that his can probably be fixed through Firmware but TCL does NOT CARE.How I know this? well this TV was released months ago and ever since many reviewers have let known TCL that this TV has an issue with Nvidia GPU where it doesn't recognize the GPU and doesn't allow you to choose VRR or 120, there are ways around it, but most people won't know. And even when TCL has been informed of this problems for months now, they have not fixed it.PS5, PC, Xbox Series (I have all 3) just don't get any benefit from this TV and I really wanted to like it, believe I tried every combination of gsync, freesync, 60hz, 120hz, just trying to like this, but the motion is bad, like really bad and there is no way around it without TCL caring. If you are a gamer buy something else.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good
Nice
2.0 out of 5 stars Even the pre-installed apps are not approved for this TV set
It's a OK TV but at this price point TCL can not longer get away without certifying there sets with UK broadcasters. It can not run any of the main steaming apps and even the preinstalled apps do not run with TV / OS not certified. They have not done any certification with BBC for 3 years. The pre-installed ITV-X and All4 do not work with error messages. You can find better sets, at a lower cost, that do not need you to instantly add a 4k streaming device. The only reason anyone should chose this TV is for direct sunlight use where the 2000 nits do help but the screens anti-reflective costing is not great so there I think you are better off looking else where. I'm guessing the reason they are not certifying is the picture processing is quite shocking most programs have really poor motion, a bit like a game running at 15fps. Dolby content runs shockingly. It is the second set I have on my deck and when casting to this TV or streaming on one of the few working apps it buffers constantly where the 8 year old Philips next to it streams without issue.Short of it is this TV is OK to run as a dumb set with a smart device plugged in so long as you turn off all picture processing and disable advanced codex's on the streaming device. It's really like buying a unsupported 2003 TV wrapped up in a shiny 2023 frame. The only good things are it's big (65") and it's bright. Look else where.
