    Initially tv was ok a bit dim. Apparently you need to change picture settings to any other setting than power saving. Power saving mode is good for vegans between carrot meals. For all other people, change picture mode. In hdr it looks incredible all other modes, except vegan are also good.

    The TV has a good sound quality, and I felt no need for a soundbar. The picture quality in terms of colour contrast is superb and the hdr is good. I watched the new avatar movie the way of water on my blue Ray player and the picture was breathtaking and dolby atmos sound was excellent. It is excellent for gaming too, with added features for console or PC gaming, including an above average refresh rate of 144hz. So for movies and gaming you can't go wrong. However I had a problem with cec software which allows for control of the TV via your blue Ray player,or game console or any other cec enabled device. So I requested a replacement and return of the faulty TV. But Bolo's service is diabolical. I had to return the faulty one 1st, then order another, like I'm going to fork out £850 again. I had to ring them 3 times to get it picked up, but not on a day that was convenient because apparently the courier doesn't tell you when!!? I returned it on the 25/9/23. A week later I got an email saying the refund was delayed as they hadn't received the item. It is now the 17th of October 3 weeks. Their service is atrocious. I will cancel my subscription. Communication with their customer service is awful, as they use a foreign service which is culturally out of context. Don't buy any major appliance from them as they do not have the customer service structure to deal with issues correctly. I am still waiting on a refund which is disgusting.

    Right , VRR dont work on ps5 , you get inverse ghosting and its so bad when you turn static objects turn red, so you need to turn off VRR, I was thinking "oh maybe it will get an update to fix it " but you go on previous models forums and they had the same issues years ago without fix so i cant hold my breath, i want to get the ps5 pro next year and thought this would last me but nope ,i couldn't get the 144hz running on my pc (rtx 4090) and the vrr implementation which is freesync premium ( should work on nvidia as all my old 1080p freesync monitors work) works but constantly flashes up the resolution info box during gameplay which makes the screen shut off for split second , i tried for 2 days with settings, forums, updates , no luck , even the xbox series x was playing up a bit , i had to turn the resolution to 1440p to get the VRR to work. This is no way a gaming tv,But ....if you are just watching tv and films it really has a good picture , it was really bright in hdr scenes, the sound is amazing just having it about quarter way up the bass is beautiful. Unfortunately i dont watch tv , i got it as a gaming monitor and slight youtube use , so im returning it.,Anyone thinking of ordering this do some researchPlus mine was the v1 version they secretly released v2 with a better processor chip and some other improvments so check with your retailer if its the 2nd version.This is the exact same tv as the c845 no difference, its only a name change due to the area its sold in so if you are looking for the 845 this is it just Bolos exclusive naming. Like is said brilliant tv for tv programs, but absolutely usless to me as a gaming tv.

    It has got all the specs I needed but sorry to say it did not work well.The picture quality was not good. Not sure what was wrong with it but it might well be a mfg defect.I had to return it back to Bolo.

    For those that don’t have an aerial and rely on streaming services this TV cant access British streaming apps like iplayer and itv x. The apps are loaded onto the tv but the service is unavailable . Inside the box is a letter explaining tcl aren't licenced and to call them to supply a roku/firestick. This really should be on the sale listing.The new x2 version was shipped with the later processor . It works fine at 120hz on the ps5, the image and sound are decent

    Item arrived with a cracked screen even although all packaging was intact. Returns processes started and hopefully will work ok. Very disappointing, so my advice is to check quality quickly and do not dispose of any packaging until 100% confident of no faults.
