These are not fit for purpose. They don't seal a standard wine bottle, let alone a bottle of bubbly. They come out when supposed to be locked, not the right size. Sloppy design.

Used on a bottle with standard cork, when the lever is closed the stopper slides easily out of the bottle.Sadly I missed the return window.Total rubbish, avoid like the plague.
Perfect replacement
Perfect. Low profile for fitting bottle back into fridge. Nice tight locking feature to prevent spills. Easy to use. So much better than a cork or rubber stopper.

Do not buy. I tried two of this brand and each broke apart into multiple pieces on my first use.

These are always handy to have. Works well. Great to share with friends.
Dangerous. Avoid.
The first thing I noticed on taking them out of the package is how cheaply they're constructed: the metal lever is thin and lightweight and not suitable for applying the kind of pressure needed on a champagne bottle. But it's the plastic socket holding the lever to the stopper that's the biggest problem. It's likely to break under the slightest pressure from the lever, sending the bottle spinning into anything nearby, such as a wine glass (this happened to me twice).Further, one bottle I did manage to stopper, later explosively popped the device back out—fortunately when no one was nearby to get hurt.These are not suitable for closing any kind of carbonated or pressurized beverage, and can readily pose a safety hazard if used for that purpose. PLEASE avoid these.
