5.0 out of 5 stars Connecting was easy
It is a very good wireless hdmi it's working through two wall's to my first floor tv with a very good picture and sound with no brakeup my previous review was it is good i now have it 5 months and it has stopped working iv tried everything all the the things like turning off and on again I changed the hdmi cable to a better one still no joy after several hours i have given up the thing is good for about 5 to 6 months and for the price i think that is a bad deal so keep your money in your pocket and don't buy this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well so far
I bought this because my set-top box (Virgin Media TV 360) has to be in a different room from the TV because it needs to be connected to a wall box via coax cable. This HDMI transmitter does the job well. The TV is two rooms away and the picture quality nevertheless is good. Set-up was very easy, basically just plug it in and that's it.I've only used it for one day so far so can't speak about longevity, but so far it does its job well. One thing to mention is that as far as I know there is no standby mode, so when the set-top box is off I think it still wastes energy for the HDMI wireless connection. Not sure though, maybe it's clever enough to wind down when no signal is coming in.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does exaxtley what it says
Literally plug and play I use it to send my signal from the main Tv to the bedroom tv, no loss of picture and saves the cost of having another box fitted by my TV supp;ier
1.0 out of 5 stars Devices stopped working and no replacement
The device worked OK for a 3 months then suddenly stopped after agreeing for a replacement with the seller, they stopped communication and I was left with the faulty device. Terrible product and service. Avoid!. (Bolo support stepped in and offered a refund.)
4.0 out of 5 stars Crystal clear!
We bought 2 x sets, and were hoping 1 x transmitter could send to 2 x receivers, like our old set used to. However we needed to use both transmitters in the end, to send to 2 different rooms / receivers. We have 2 transmitters linked in chain to our sky box and lounge tv. Then those transmit, one 4m wirelessly, one through 2 walls to our kitchen tv, and the other about 10 metres to the bedroom one on floor above. The kitchen tv remote infra red works, but we have not been able to get the bedroom one working, but that’s fine as we can change the channel with the sky app on our phones.Unfortunately the transmitters won’t send Dolby stereo, so we can only use that when we watch in our lounge, as Dolby crackles in the other 2 rooms. But if we switch off the Dolby on the sky box, then the sound transmits fine to the other rooms. The instructions are not great for set up and it would be good to have the Dolby issue noted, so people know to turn that off. I’ve removed 1 star for the Dolby issue, but overall the images are crystal clear in each room, better than we’ve ever had. Couldn’t get the sound synced exactly through our sound system across the rooms, but that has always been an issue.Overall a solid, well made and excellent product, definitely recommend!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
Needed to upgrade a Scart wireless system to use HDMI instead, to get tv and DVD from the lounge to another room without channelling walls or ripping up floors to lay cables. After much research settled on this product as it gave me the choice of wireless and wired.I‘m pleased to say that it works very well on wireless, going through a double brick wall and 2 cupboards, a distance of about 20 feet. Not experienced any problems so far ( only had it about a week). Best part is that we don’t get any noise if we walk the the signal path, and the overall sound and picture quality is much better.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!!
Compared to the 2 other makes of receiver / transmitter I've tried before, I'd give this 10 out of 5 if I could.transmits my TiVo box channels from the front room, through a stud wall, about 10 metres to the kitchen TV.Perfect transmission in all respects. Can also change channels in the kitchen too. Perfect.......
2.0 out of 5 stars it drops the signal to far end and the pass through on the transmitter drops out too!
drops the signal to the far end regularly from 10 feet plus 1 plaster board walldrops the signal through the transmitter as well!
It just works
This was 1 of 4 different systems I tried and this one finally worked! I have a Samsung TV and an older bluray player from memorex. This worked a charm and the IR blaster worked great too! Highly recommend it.
This works a treat
This worked incredibly well. Took me a minute to figure out which ethernet port I should plug it in but once I got that right this connected my camera system DVR to a home office over 100ft away. Now I'll have to watch and see off the signal stays stable and reliable. But for now, it works as advertised. I would recommend.
Easy Setup
The decoders (HDIP100D) worked right away with the encoder (HDIP100E). It finds it in the network right away without any configuration. Literally, plug and play. No complaints, fully recommend. The PoE is a plus, and the fact that it directly connects through a router makes this a nice setup. The "No Source" display when there is no video input, is nice but I wish it would go off after a certain amount of time. This would allow the TVs to actually turn off automatically. Minor annoyance.
Does Not Contain Everything You’ll Need!
The product description was pretty unclear that this only contained half of what is required for a 1-to-1 setup. I’m not paying close $400 to extend my hdmi (they’re $189 each right now) so this is immediately going back.Way overpriced for only able to transport an old version of “HD” by today’s standards (1080p) now that we’ve seen 1440p / 4K / 8k when you have to buy two of these to even get the advertised usage.
As easy to use as advertised
So I've used other AV Access products in the past, mainly their hdmi 4 port KVM and I love how solid and inexpensive all these units are. This is build the same, like a piece of commercial equipment that could take some abuse, heck it even has mounts to support any setup you can imagine. The directions are simple, if almost non-existent but I was pleased to find out it was as easy to setup as it was advertised. I used mine to sent the output of my DVR across the house and it worked in 5 minutes of hook up. Now I do suggest running this on a gigabit network but the picture is clear and smooth. Heads up the units run hotter then expected but I'm told not to worry and the company has been reliable in the past so I expect no issues. If you plan to use these in a video wall setup there currently is no android app to set it up just ios. I suspect other apps will be added soon enough. I plan to add a few more units to my setup shortly.
