    I feel like my brain is firing on all cylinders again! Low folate can cause lower BH4 levels which is an important cofactor in making major neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine! Boom!

    Our daughter was diagnosed with a condition called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and her periods are very erratic, we have been looking for treatments that might help the condition and one of them is deemed to be Folate so the ‎Igennus Healthcare Nutrition Pure Folate looked to be a good match. It arrives in a sealed bottle which contains 180 tablets, to be taken one per day which will last 6 months with that dosage. This supplement does have other additives for ‘bulking’ but is vegan and non-GMO so should be safe to use in most situations including pregnancy (after doctor consultation of course.) She is now a couple of weeks into the supplement programme and it is too early to tell whether it will have the desired effect to tone down the hormone imbalance PCOS causes but we are hopeful and I will update this in a couple of months when we have more data.
