A simple camera to use especially for beginners but also advanced photographers. The RAW images are fantastic and can be edited on the DPPE app. This can be downloaded from Canon at an affordable price. The camera is compact and light. I have several cameras but this is the best value camera I have bought.

I wanted to get a camera that would take better pictures than the camera on my phone. Interestingly, my phone and this camera (lens included) launched at a similar price, but my phone is getting on for 7 years old at this point, and this camera is only about 1 year old.It does take better pictures, and it has many more options than what I can do on my phone, however, it's not that much better for casual shots, so I was a bit disappointed. Sure, it has a lot more pixels, but I don't know, it's a lot to spend on something that to me only felt like a marginal improvement. I think in this instance, I would have been better off spending a bit more and going past entry level.Maybe this camera is right for you, feel free to use my picture to judge.Also consider what you're going to be looking at your pictures on, if you're using a 1080 screen, you won't see as much benefit as using a 4K screen for example. If you're getting them printed, the pictures from the EOS will look nicer when they're blown up.To sum up: If you don't have a camera, this is a great starting point, if you're upgrading from a phone YMMV, if you've been spoilt by trying out your friends' fancy cameras you might be left wanting more.

The camera is ok..the battery failed after 6 weeks intermittent use only.After many phone callsand tranfers inside Bolo..i was passed to Canon direct..who said as I bought thecamera from Bolo and not direct..they will not support a warranty replacement...but invited me to purchase a new one.So I was on the phone for an hour.Bolo were only return the camera for exchange or refund.All I wanted was a replacement battery .Solution...I purchased replacement batteries from another seller.Canons response was deplorable...didnt care..I was not al impressed with Bolo response.Solution again...be wary when you purchase from Bolo !
