5.0 out of 5 stars Spectacular!
So far I was able to test it on my Alienware Area 51m R2 and Area 51m R1 (yes 2 laptops) as well as my Desktop PC!It comes with a license for Dolby Atmos if you have an Alienware Laptop/PC (each laptop has it's own license btw).Integration with ACC is flawless and greatly appreciated! (even if this older version of Alienware Command Centre is the "older" version).Firmware updates are via USB cable from ACC. The same for RGB on the headset (if you fancy customise those).Sound quality is really really good (not as good as a true Studio Headset, but those are quite a few 1000$/€ more).Bluetooth works perfectly fine as well as Wi-Fi via dedicated 2.4Ghz dongle.Working fine with my Android phone and even with my Steam Deck OLED! (but the volume up/down and music play/pause touch controls don't work :P Not that I expected tbh).I highly recommend them! (Being using a few headphones from AW since 2013 and high Studio ones from Sennheiser). For the price and feature set I find them a "no brainer"!Cheers!
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic headset
This is a brilliant headset, comfortable, sounds amazing, works with spatial audio, looks futuristic and works really well for games, music and video. The built in mic is a bit poor, but with the attachment mic I have been told it sounds perfect. The additional mic does come with it but can be removed if you are just gaming alone.
1.0 out of 5 stars For the price, I’d expect better. Sent back.
I’ve used Alienware PC’s and laptops in the past. Always been great. I was in the market for a new pair of headphones, saw these & thought “why not. Always had good products”.Well these sucked. The comfort level is not there, they cup your ears/head like a vice. The microphone is appalling, to which you sound like you’re in a cave to other players. For the price point you’d expect the quality to be in-line with it. When a pair of £30, not great branded, headphones are better than these, then you need to get back to the drawing board and come up with a product that is great for the price point. In the end I bought a pair of Corsair headphones which are a million times better than these and also £50 cheaper. It sucks as I’ve said that I’ve used Alienware products in the past & they’ve always been top tier. Maybe they should stick to PCs and laptops.
3.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight, but sound and annoying cable let it down
Nice looking headset that’s light and does not make your head or ears hot during gameplay. However there are some major flaws. The cable is braided and the fixed position means it constantly rubs against collars or shoulder. Numerous players giving negative feedback on voice chat, of scratching sound, means you switch off comms to just use as earphones. As this is fixed wire, you can’t use an L shaped Adapter to get around problem. The mute/unmute button on headset can often be pressed. Making you unaware and catching off guard. Why not on the cable like last headsets? This headset also appears quieter with a more tin sounding effects. They’ll do for single gameplay due to light weight and comfort, but multiplayer is out of question due to negatives.
2.0 out of 5 stars Not even 1 year old and it's already spiraling
I'm not a huge gamer but I wanted good-quality headphones for my new PC. These headphones haven't even lasted me a year. The sound crackles when listening to music, when gaming it's only worse. Not worth it for the cost. Very disappointing.
4.0 out of 5 stars Arived . On time we’ll packed
A good firm to deal with
3.0 out of 5 stars It's ok
Easy to install but I returned due to poor sound quality. I think there are better out there for cheaper. I only bought it because I have an Alienware pc, keyboard and mouse.
1.0 out of 5 stars absolutely garbage !
Barely not used sounds like something is touching 2 wires in the right speaker…. So disappointing , £150 product to fail like a £10 item…
