5.0 out of 5 stars Very good
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I bought this after ready reviews on other products this one seemed the one for me. When I opened it up all the bits were packaged nice once I sorted the bits and put the bottom together it was easy to put together looks good and sturdy wasn't as big as I thought but fits where I want it perfect I'm keeping all my cooking appliances on it, it's strong enough to store them on. For £20 it's a decent value for your money. Metal frame, has plywood for shelf. I'd buy again
4.0 out of 5 stars Shelves go mouldy
Easy to put up once you figure out it works. You will need a small hammer.Nice and sturdy. I bought quite a few sets so was a pro setting up after the second lot.The shelving will go mouldy very quickly. I just cleaned it off with bleach and water, let it dry and covered with yacht varnish.
5.0 out of 5 stars Stronger than expected
Fantastic how this big shelf unit fit into such a small boxLooks a bit flimsy on first glance but once its all together and with a bit of weight on it its pretty strong and sturdy (i have well over 100kg on them now and the weight is only adding to the overall strength of it)All clips together without any tools but you might find it helps to have a flat head screwdriver to ease the clips through the slotsIts very lightweight so easy enough to move, the shelves themselves are pretty thin but they are fairly strong, not strong enough as a working surface but perfect for storage. You could always get a strip of ply or chipboard if you wanted a working surface with these shelves but they are shelves not workbenchesI would not suggest they be used outside in the good old british weather, doesnt matter how strong the MDF is, if water gets on the edge, its soaking in. Thats just what MDF doesThe steel is galvanised so should be fine outsideOverall price to quality its a bargain at less than £30 per unitThere are stronger rackings out there but be prepared to spend a lot more
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value
Really surprised at how good this was for the price! While building I did think this seems too flimsy to have decent support but once built it was very sturdy! 🙂
3.0 out of 5 stars not heavy duty
goes together fine , but a change of title would be needed from heavy duty to medium duty, i have bought heavy duty for same price before and its def not the same , but still fit for purpose
5.0 out of 5 stars Value for money
Easy to put together, strong and sturdy, really good value for money.
4.0 out of 5 stars happy with the purchase
good quality. Can be used as two shelves. It takes time and efforts to assemble. The result is good.
3.0 out of 5 stars Adequate short term
A spectacularly poor piece of engineering but I guess the clue is in the price. Not easy to put together. As soon as once piece is slotted in to place another piece falls out. Once assembled bits fall apart if moved. But once assembled and in place it seems ok. I’m only using it to store clothes short term. So for a ‘quick fix’ it’s fine for the price but it’s not a long term solution and I certainly wouldn’t use it for anything heavier/more precious than clothes. But for a cheap, short term storage problem it’s fine.
