5.0 out of 5 stars Great alternative to expensive KVM switch

    C. · 2 September 2024

Was looking for an item for switching periferals between multiple devices and found this. Works great to utilise the usb hub on a monitor and easily facilitate switching between multiple machines.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, works perfectly.

    M. · 13 July 2024

I got this to share an external Yamaha soundcard/mixer between 2 computers and it works perfectly.I've used Sabrent products before so know they've been great and this product is no exception, Its an automatic selection so whichever computer is started it auto selects that computer, but can also be used manually with a switch when both are on.And surprisingly it even comes with 2 cables so couldn't be better. Nothing else was need to purchased as extras.Brilliant!.

4.0 out of 5 stars Extremely reliable, study, but requires more ports, and pretty overpriced.

    J.J. · 31 October 2022

I needed the ability to ONLY switch a wireless keyboard and mouse between two computers As such I didnt need a fully fledged KVM, just a USB switcher.I have dealt with various USB switchers, and most non mainstream branded devices are pretty terrible. Either they are unreliable (often either disconnecting, or even not properly switchin) or downright harmfull to equipment due to poor seperation of signals and power. Some even use non standard connections (such as a USB A socket for INPUT as well as OUTPUT which not only is non compliant to USB specs (which are strict about that stuff), but also potentially harmfull to your equipment if you connect stuff wrong.I had earlier bought a Sabrent USB-C KVM for my wife, and was impressed with its quality and reliability so when looking for a USB switcher I chose this product despite being quite pricy for what it is, and also only havign one USB port (though in my case I only needed one). The product is definately well made and correctly uses full size USB B sockets for the Input. I switch frequently between the two computers, and it works well, never lost connection and has a little LED showing which input is connected. My only issue isa) its price, I cannot see how it costs that much to make but I guess it doesnt have much in the way of branded quality competition. My wifes USB C KVM which is also by sabrent, and has far more features, including a hub, video, and USB PD was not that much more in price.b) for that price it could have easily had 2 output ports, again see above.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does the Job. Worked straight out of the box.

    A.B. · 29 June 2020

In the box, there is the switch and two USB to printer cables. Thus, all there and ready to go. No-need to buy separate cables. Perhaps the supplier could update the information on the Bolo page to make this clear as it appears that some people have bought cables which they don't need.I have two Win 10 PCs which I wanted to connect to the same Canon printer. I plugged this switch in using a USB2 port on each PC, and from the switch to the printer. Selected the first PC to the printer by pushing the button on the switch to select channel A. Printed a test page - all OK. Selected Channel B on the switch and printed a test page from the second PC - all OK. Job done.I note that some reviewers below have had difficulty - even some stating that this switch doesn't work. I offer the following:-1. It is a USB2 device so it won't work on USB3.2. If you can't get your PC to print via this switch, connect the each PC in turn directly to your printer and make sure that works OK. Then try the switch again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked right out of the box for 3 PCs

    P.M. · 28 August 2023

I was originally looking for a KVM switch to hook up 3 PCs to one monitor keyboard and mouse, but they're expensive (I need VGA or DVI as well as 1440p HDMI) and reading reviews many of them seemed to have potential issues. So I bought a cheap additional monitor to use for work and and my old optiplex (I only ever use one of those at a time) and this box to hook up a keyboard for 3 PCs. I haven't tried 4 (yet) and will update if I get round to it. One wireless dongle for the keyboard and mouse (Logi brand) and just tap the wired switch to change between them. No appreciable delay in switching and no issues with lag in gaming (I'm not a competitive gamer, I think a wired mouse would be better for that anyway). No software to install, it just worked, even on my fairly locked down work PC. I did read that a power supply is needed for multiple USB connections, but as I'm only likely to use 2 at most (the dongle and maybe a memory stick) I've got no need. And yes I did plug in my 64GB USB drive and it worked fine so a cheap and cheerful way to move files (slowly) from one computer to another. Only downsides (mentioned in other reviews) are the fixed USB cables coming out of it which are a bit of a rats nest behind my PC and potentially a failure point if the plan is to move this device around a lot and a short lead on the switch to change between devices (the only way you can do it). I'm not planning to move any of my PCs or take this device anywhere so not an issue for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works… kind of.

    A. · 14 July 2022

This product is exactly what I wanted. I needed a USB hub with a switch and remote button. I use it between my main desktop PC and a Steam Deck. Super easy to setup and the remote button is mounted under the desk at the front, for a neat and easy solution to switch my keyboard and mouse between the Deck and my PC.However, every 20-30mins the mouse just stops working. I have plugged in a micro USB cable for additional power, so I don’t believe this is the problem. I think the unit itself is just faulty. YMMV, but be aware that it may not work completely. I’m going to give it a few more days to see if it’s an issue that can be resolved, but if not I will return it for something else. It’s a shame, because it’s otherwise perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant - connected four computers to my keyboard!

    A.S. · 29 July 2024

Does what it says on the tin - you connect four computers and you have four USB outputs to add any devices you want to share among them.Absolutely brilliant and the little clicker to switch is a joy to use.Thoroughly recommend and it arrived same day! Can't beat that!

    Replaced my Caldigit TS3

    C. · 13 October 2024

I have been using a Caldigit TS3 dock to switch between a home and work computer. It's connected to a mouse, keyboard, Mac Studio Display (5K), and a LG 4K monitor. With Thunderbolt 3, the dock could only handle one of the monitors. The other monitor required a direct connection to the computer. Every weekday, I would swap two cables to my work computer. At the end of the day, I would swap the cables back. On a regular basis, the LG would not turn on so I had to unplug the cable to wake it up. I would avoid using my home computer during the day just because the process was cumbersome and slow. The Sabrent just works. I don't have to swap cables any more. I don't have any problems with the LG monitor not waking up. I press the button and everything is switched over in a few seconds. Amazing!

    Great Product

    V.N. · 7 October 2024

Switch functionality works as expected. Small enough to hide behind my TV

Works great with MacBook Pro M1 and Dell Inspiron

    A. · 21 September 2024

Overall - KVM switch works as expected. Handles 2 4K daisy-chained monitors flawlessly. Monitor in the center is LG and on the right is Dell (daisy chained through LG). Works with Mac Os and Windows 11. I have to switch off monitor still, before toggling kvm switch - but I figured out this is LG monitor problem, not KVM.

Return purchaser of this product. It does the job right allowing me to make use of certain usb devices on different environments with a press of a button. This is a great product.

Windows - Excelente, Mac - Mal: Solo funciona el modo espejo

    C.A. · 24 January 2024
