    A fantastic high-quality mug which holds a litre of liquid. Its double wall means that it will stay hot or cold depending on what you put into it. Sturdy and I would say beautiful.

    I use this to drink almost everything - except tea n coffee!All cold drinks and when it’s beer O’clock, especially at this time of year, it’s always first choice.Love the way it can sit out in the sun and the outside can get hot from whatever sunny day it might be, but the drink within stays frosty!Not so many trips to to the fridge for a second drink either. And totally lightweight to handle!Perfick!

    The mug has been great, i use it all the time, it surprises me all the time with having ice still in it in the morning still. i have been using it for weeks no issue at all. but i am a bit worried about the bottom of the handle. i was like this out of the box and the gap has not gotten bigger since i started using it. maybe just a fit and finish issue nothing major. This one is huge, when i want a beer, it will hold two pints and keep them cold. but mostly used for water, and ever day drinks. i like the look and the feel of it. i will update if the handle ever does give out.

    I'll be the first to admit the 1 liter stein isn't the most practical drinking vessel I've owned. It won't fit in any cupholder and has no lid on it. It does, however, have some excellent uses. There are certain beverages that it just seems wrong for a man to drink out of an adult version of a sippy cup. I believe frosty brews fall into that category. While I'm not opposed to drinking those beverages directly from their manufactured packaging I also often find myself in campgrounds that don't allow that. I know some of you will probably be opposed to drinking brews out of anything other than glass vessels. I'm not going to weigh into that arguement here. If your in the no-beers-from-metal-containers group then this stein isn't for you.For the rest of us, this stein is a wonderful solution to campfire beverages. It is an unmarked container that satisfies campground rules. It's not cold to hold in your hands which is a bonus on chilly nights. It claims to keep beverages cold for 6 hours. I can't verify that since 6 hours is way too long to be sipping on even a reasonably large serving of beer. It will stay really cold at least for a couple of hours but I never could stretch out my consumption time past that. The stein is very sturdy and has an easy to grasp handle even with gloves on. The wide base which prevents any cupholder use does make it harder to knock over on accident. Lastly, after a quick clean the next morning it also does a great job holding coffee which is another beverage I don't like drinking out of a sippy cup. Even without a lid it kept my 1/2 stein of coffee hot for an hour and it was still a bit warm at 2 hours.As an added bonus this is the only vacuum sealed cup I've seen lately that's dishwasher safe. This may be a result of where it's manufactured. It appears from the packaging that the cup is made in Japan. Anybody that hasn't been living under a rock since WWII is probably aware that Japanese goods are manufactured to much higher standards than Chinese goods.

    This thing is great for insulating large amounts of liquid both hit and cold. It would have been an added bonus had it come with some sort of lid to help keep temperature in even more, but it would have taken away from the aestehtic some.
