5.0 out of 5 stars New technology for wireless typing.
As the mouse has started evolving for quite a while now, developing into a more ergonomic shape, relieving pressure on the wrist, it was about time that the keyboards would start evolving as well and I must admit I was very surprised with the fact that this keyboard is split in half and it still communicates with the other half without a cable.I like the fact that it has five different positioning adjustments as I don't always feel as comfortable on the same setting every time. The layout of the keyboard is curved, in my case helping especially when trying to reach keys with my ring or pinky finger as normally with a straight layout I would also have to twist my wrist more to reach with my shorter pinky finger, whereas with the curved layout the keys towards the end of the row are positioned lower than normal. The gap I can create in the middle between the two halves of the keyboard, allows me to position my notes straight in front of me whereas normally I would still place it in front of me but on the actual keyboard and you can imagine how annoying this would be having to lift the notes in order to type and then position back again or eventually moving it on the side and constantly having to turn my head.I find the keys to be easy to press and with good responsiveness. It is very easy to connect to the laptop and the magnetic level adjustment is another touch of ingenuity.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good keyboard
I like that you can move the magnetic supports and put them in a way that suits you. It helps support my wrist and is easy to use.
3.0 out of 5 stars Nice keyboard let down by a couple of issues.
First off love the design, the way that the two halves talk to each other and the PC without cables is great. The feet are great too.The keys are a little too squishy, I have prefered scissor of even a mechanical option but I could have lived with that if it wasn't for the keyboard constantly dropping it's signal and disconnecting ether from itself or the PC. Real shame. It might be because I went for a refurbed model but the squishy keys put me off. This would be a must buy if the keys were maybe low profile mechs or scissors and maybe had a bluetooth option.I will try the wired keyboard next time.
5.0 out of 5 stars You need to get used to it
I sit at a desk job for 8 hours a day which neither my back or wrists appreciates particularly, it was actually a friend of mine who recommended a split keyboard to key with posture.I was a bit skeptical but thought I’d give it a go and honestly it’s been great. I will preface by saying it does take a bit of getting used to, muscle memory will take a while to divert from the standard keyboard but after a while it becomes second nature.I love that I can have a much more relaxed position for my arms and shoulders so I don’t tend up so tense. Being split means I can adjust the space as necessary for by posture. The space at the bottom of the keyboard also acts like a nice wrist rest too. I was taught to type by hovering my hand over the keyboard and not resting so old habits die hard! The keys are soft and don’t stick, it’s a good quality item. I use a mechanical keyboard so I’m just the clicking of keys but this one feels like typing on your average keys. The wire has a decent length on it too. Overall I do really like it and now use it everyday for work.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality split keyboard, great foot design
The overall quality of this keyboard is good. The wireless functionality is easy to set up and works very well with the included usb dongle, which has a nice storage hole on the underside, next to one of the battery compartments, for when it is not in use.The design of the magnetic movable feet is excellent and something more keyboards should do, giving great easily changeable variation in keyboard angle options while feeling sturdy and stable. The plastics feel like they'll be durable, and the keyboard body feels well constructed, not as solid as a metal body, but with no noticable flex. The keyboard action is fine for a membrane tile type, not as nice as a short-travel mechanical keyboard like my Logitech G815, or as refined as the older Apple tile keyboard I have, but it's also a fraction of the price of either. The only things I don't like about the keyboard are: - the layout has seen them compromise on some of the key sizes and positions, which results in me finding it difficult to find the shift key at times for instance - hopefully this will improve with familiarity - the keycaps don't have any concavity which again makes it easy to lose track of where your "home" is, and more difficult to find some of the pinky keys especially around the arrow keys
1.0 out of 5 stars Right hand keyboard stopped working
The right hand keyboards has stopped working after 3 months and can't see how we can report a fault and send back for replacement. Everything has been done to trouble shoot but no change.
