    The media could not be loaded. Will not win prizes for astetically attractiveness in my opinion but it is functional.All plastic, fairly rubust but does give the impression if dropped on a hard surface it will crack as the plastic is hard not having any give. A handle allows it to be hung up.Being solar charged could be good, but also had a USB C port so no problems. The usually cable is supplied. Of course the attraction of this is it's portability.The high voltage grid is suitably protected from prying fingers. The tube behind it is quoted as being UV A. No mention is made of any dangers associated with UV light.I feel the main use of this is it's 'zapper' function so do wonder if the included light is added value or someone thought it might be a good idea. But it's there is you want itPrice wise, it sits mid to high end of similar units.I would say if you are after a 'zapper' it's worth a look.

    This comes with a cleaning brush, USB cable and instructions.Charging is easy via USB and the solar panel is functional as can be seen by the light under the USB cover but I can't comment on how long it takes to charge in real life. Batter life seems good at between 4 and 8 hours for the bug zapper but it warns you that solar charging alone isn't enough to fully charge the battery if it is used fully daily.The unit also has a white light with 2 brightness levels and a flashing mode. The light isn't very bright and seems unnecessary but some people may find it useful.Despatched flies take their final flight to an easily removed try at the bottom.The unit is water proof so could be left outside to charge unattended. It will let water into the tray but it has drainage holes to allow for this.I tested the unit lights up but unfortunately I couldn't test how good it is at killing flies at it's too late in the year for them now but I know from experience that these type of units do work.Price wise this is a very similar price to a corded zapper I have although it was discounted at the time of review making it decent value.
