I selected the round beige placemats for my table through the Bolo Vine program.The item arrived well-packaged and secured. However, since it had been rolled/folded for shipping, I needed to place it under a heavy object to ensure it flattened out. Once that was done, it maintained its shape excellently on my table.The design is sophisticated, and the beige colour carries a glittery tint. I've had to wash one mat due to a minor spill, and it held up well in the washing machine, though I wouldn't recommend washing it frequently.The placemats effectively protected my wooden table from heat and left no marks. However, for hotter items like pans and trays, I'd suggest using additional protection.

I had the round braided ones to review. They come rolled but are very easily flattened out, just lay them the other side down and in half an hour they are flat.I had a couple of issues with these, firstly two of the 6 placemats had some sort of fluff that had wrapped itself round the stitching, and there was no way of removing it, unless I wanted to cut the stitching, but I was able to push the fluff through to the underside.The second issue was another on another mat the last weave wasn't stiched down, so I will have to repair that before use.Other than that, these will be great for a BBQ where it won't matter what gets spilled on them as they are easy to wash. I can vouch for that as in trying to get the fluff off I must have caught my finger and managed to get blood on one of the mats, luckily not the one that needed stitching. A quick wash under the tap and no more blood stain.So as much as I would like to give these mats a 4 star rating, in all honesty I can't, but if you want them for a BBQ, which is what I will use them for, you might not be as disappointed as I initially was.

After using this for a while, I can truly say this is exactly as described in the product listing.I really like how well-made this is. What I don't like it how hard it is to clean.Overall, I recommend it.
