    White polystyrene tubes and inside 3 led lights, red, green and blue. A battery pack and electronics to control. What is not there to like about these when you are a toddler?My little ones are currently addicted to playing these lights. Sometimes switched off as well. I dont understand the attraction but they keep pointing at them for me to hand them to play.I suspect that they are into lights as we are currently coming up to Christmas and we have lots of Christmas lights dotted around the house and on trees and I think they feel apart of the magic when holding these.We still have plenty to take on Christmas day so it will keep the whole family occupied when the food is cooking.There is not much to say about them apart from pull the paper tab at the bottom to allow the battery to make contact. Push the button also at the bottom to switch them on and cycle the three modes of light and a forth press to switch them off.The kids were playing for a few hours and you do notice the batteries taking a hammering as the lights slightly dim. When they reach the point of just a fain red light you wont be able to switch them off for some reason. I just took the batteries out.At just over 70p each quite a bargain but sadly it probably not worth the cost to replace the batteries when they run out. Landfill?I have cut one open and the lights are quite pretty when you switch them on without the outer case and fit nicely in the current Christmas theme we have at home.I hate to throw things out to landfill and probably absorb the cost of new batteries when they run out and perhaps repurpose them as Christmas decorations but see if I can attach a larger battery pack.

    These are great. At initial glance, I wasn't sure what quality they would be, but once I switched them on they were fantastic. They are hollow tubes made of lightweight foam, with a foam cap on the end. Inside them is a little bit of wire and LED lighting bulb. It lights up in multiple bright colours, and has different speed settings where the lights flash and strobe or pulse fast or slow. The lighting is very bright and attractive. It would be fun to use for a silent disco in the dark , for example. They all came in a Sturdy box and each baton is individually wrapped in plastic. The battery inside them is protected by a little plastic tab that you can pull out, and this stops the battery from running out before you have used them. It took me a moment to figure out how to switch them on- There is a very tiny button next to the battery compartment that you press to switch it on, and press again to adjust the speed of the lights flashing. They are also quite large, baton sized, which is great because I had expected them to be much smaller. Lots of family party fun to be had with these!
