I was quite worried about it being too tight round the back of the neck, but decided to risk trying it, and it's actually really good, didn't bother me at all.There's a lot of similar cheap competitors, but all the other ones i've tried have loads of flaws in their design, if you want something that does all it's designed to do really well, this is the one to go for.It's really comfy, keeps you really warm, is pretty thin (even works well under a bike helmet), and the elastic toggles on the front means you can strap the front part tight in a headwind.And thankfully they do it in multiple sizes, none of that "one size fits all" nonsense.

I ordered the smallest one as I have a very small head (not bizarrely small 😅) …. It is not tight fitting which I thought it would be but actually glad it’s not as I wear a woolly hat underneath… the space around it seems to create a warmth… it’s great also as a neck gaiter when not pulled up on the head, as no cold air flows around my neck at all…. Much better than a neck gaiter in my opinion…. Nice and warm…. A quality item. Love it

Fits nicely under a safety helmet. Ideal for cold / windy / showery days. You can stick another hat on over the top if it's really cold (and you don't need a helmet on). Quite like the fabric it's a good combo of comfy inside and shell layer outside. The mouth cover bit is very well designed, comfortable and easily moved out of the way, and stays out of the way.Not ideal for torrential rain unless you're wearing your coat's hood over the top - it will drip rain down under your collar. (Just wear it under a coat hood). But fine for less dreadful rain.Only downside I've found is it cuts out sound to the extent that on a site with background noise you can't clearly hear what people near you are saying. This may be a plus depending on who you're talking to, but on some jobs it might not be safe to be partially deaf. I take extra care when working near traffic with this on. You will not hear an electric car sneaking up on you.

I walk my dog in all weathers, so this has been a great in snow / driving rain etc - it keeps my ears toasty warm and stops drafts going down my neck and back. Love it!

Fits inside coat collar and outside cape collar. Well made, substantial and lightweight, folds up small. No rain yet but confidence in sealskin brand. Excellent piece of kit, best buy, along with my carradice cape.

After about 30 minutes of wearing this on an early morning walk in the rain my head was just as wet on the inside from sweat as the cover was on the outside from the rain. I tried it again on a cold windy morning and it does help protect from the wind and the piece that covers the mouth and nose does allow you to breath easily but yet again my head was covered in sweat and the inside was damp.

This product is great quality, nice and warm, fits nicely, unfortunately I returned as it was too hot for me, I like my mouth out and didn't like it flapping to my mouth when breathing in, I rolled it down over chin but didn't stay too long. Great if you like being masked. Not for me. Sellers were fine and customer satisfaction. I would recommend this product but I didn't try it in the rain.
Excellent balaclava.
I wore this on my motorcycle during a chilly rainy trip.I wear a full faced modular helmet.It fit over my jacket collar.It kept me warm and dry.Highly recommended.If I lost it I’d buy another.Excellent service and fair deal from the seller.
It works
I wore this for an 8 hour class at night in 50 degree rain with 20 mph winds, because I had to wear a helmet and wanted to keep my head and neck dry with something that would fit under the helmet. I simply removed a couple of the sizing pads in the helmet and it fit well and was comfortable for the whole time, and my head stayed pretty dry. I suspect that if it was warmer this would be too much and wouldn't breathe enough to handle the sweat, but for cool or colder conditions where you need something fairly thin and waterproof, go for it

WOULD BE NICE IF A LITTLE THICKER (WARMER)
I WISH IT WAS A LITTLE THICKER WOULD BE GREAT ON THE COLDER DAYSI WEAR A TOUQUE THAN PULL THIS OVERTOP AND ITS PERFECTFITS LONG AROUND THE NECK WHICH IS NICE FILLS IN THE GAPS NICELY.
