Well it is a toy but it takes photos that my 4 year old grandson is very pleased with. It also takes video and you can apply various filters which he also enjoys. For the price I think it’s excellent.

Son loved it for his 8th birthday, it froze once whilst out but has a small reset button next to the charging port, you do need a pin for this. Does photo, video, front and back camera, games, music and filters. Cameras not the best quality but it’s well within the price range. The external has a hardy cover for the lens when not in use and the silicon dinosaur parts are really cute to move around. Also came with a USB memory stick, memory card and charges quickly

Bought this for my son for him to record our very first trip to Disneyland and it stopped working after only 3hours use!! i can't return it as obviously i bought it over a month in advance of our trip.we turned it off and then when we turned it back on again it go stuck on the loading screen and that was that. even when the charge ran right down and we recharged it again - turned it on - stuck.He was super dissapointed as you can imagine, not the end of the world as we could obviously take photos on our phones but he was so excited to take his own photos.So yeh cheaply made and you get what you pay for - id advise spending a little bit more on prahaps a well known branded camera.

Some extra feature confuse the experience
The kid was verry happy with it :)I thought the music playing part of it will be a great feature, but the sound is very weak, in terms of loudness and quality. (The kid still enjoys, but I was a bit disappointed).What I miss is a setting to turn off the games in it. This way the kid uses is as a old gameboy or tetris, and it is annoying and not what I bought it for him. Now I need to get it from him to stop playing, but this is in contrast what I wanted for him, to have a device whith which he can take poctures anytime. But still we can use it for that too, but the temptation for the kid is always there to just play some game on it :/
Worst product, don't buy
The product looked good at the beginning and my son really liked it. But it worked only for one day and we couldn't turn it on. I already returned the product but see no updates up to now.
Absolutely terrible image quality
My 7 yo was excited to take photos of his holidays and he took some really great shots. I figured the display screen was just crappy and that once we put the photos on the computer that they would show up nice and clear. NOPE! The resolution is terrible! Not a single clear photo even in good lighting and a steady hand. They are worse than on the camera display screen. Have tested it and the lenses are new and clean but the photos are useless.
Pieces could get lost / be a choking hazard
My niece & nephew LOVE these. They look great, very functional, and provide educational and sentimental value. While the listing says ages 3-12, the box says 6+, but children under 6 will still enjoy them with the help of an adult.My one issue is the pieces fall off easily. I suggest supergluing them on. Would be awesome if they sent extra / replacement pieces that you could mix & match. The smaller pieces may also pose a choking hazard for younger children.
