    Applied to the underside of a sewing machine arm. Strip had 40 LED sections, but we just used 10 for the sewing machine, so estimate is uses 2.25W, 0.45A, so the majority of USB Power Supplies will do. Very bright, a great improvement, makes it easier to compare thread colours against the fabric. Used tiny P-Clips hooked onto 3M Command S/A Hooks that are sold for Xmas Lights, to attach white cable to back of machine, to remove any pull on the LED strip. I suggest buyers also consider buying a switched USB-2.0 extension cable, as the supplied cable does not quite reach the floor. I recommend it.

    I was trying to create a rectangular backlight for my computer screen with L-shaped connectors for the 90-degree angles, but no luck - neither straight connectors nor L-shaped connectors worked, and when pushing it into the connector, the slightest bend in the LED strip made that section to stop working. Would return if I could.

    The supplied remote doesn't seem to respond every time, sometimes takes a couple of presses. The banlanX app from the Google Play Store is ok but wasn't my preferred choice of control. This alone didn't lose a star... What did lose stars was the yellow colour which is non-existant (it's virtually green) and the white which isn't much different to the cyan. I have an LED bulb with a proper yellow colour so I know it's possible. So, either I have a completely faulty strip or they cheaped out on the yellow LEDs. At £20, I expected better. The rest of it is cool though and I'm debating whether to send it back or keep it.

    These have been awesome mounted under my sons bunked. Sometimes he uses them as a nightlight, or they make them change colors with music and have a dance party. I like that it comes with a remote that's super easy for a child to use. So far the adhesive backing is holding up really well. Would definitely order again if I can think of a cool use for them.

    I got this to go behind my monitors for bias lighting. I appreciate that there isn't an on and off switch or anything. I just have them plugged in so that when my computer turns on, they automatically come on. Computer off and they turn off. Nice and simple. Also, the light is a good cool white. Not blue-tinged like some. Not dingy yellow like others.
