    This set of flat, disc shaped beads is really nice. There are lots of beads in lots of different solid colours all separated out into their own compartments in the boxes. One of the bead colours is a rainbow striped effect, which was a bit hit with my kids.The effect of a stack of flat beads together on a bracelet is very interesting and unusual compared to the classic ball shaped bead. The kids have had a great time with these making something a bit different, and also mixing them up with regular beads.The kit comes with lots of extra bits for completing a few jewellery projects, such as transparent elastic string, and some findings such as clasps and hoops to finish a bracelet or necklace done with regular beading string. Scissors are just about good enough to cut the elastic, but are not generally particularly good.

    This bracelet making kit was great fun and my daughter loved making everyone their own bracelet with it.It is a really good winter activity to be sat inside at the table and use your creativity to make nice bracelets.You get a huge 10m of the clear band which has just a very slight amount of give/stretch in it and thankfully in this set you have 10 clasps so you can make 10 bracelets and don't have to worry about them breaking and beads going everywhere when you stretch it over your wrist, you just undo the metal clasp to take it on and off. Also included are a selection of other little gold colour pieces to break up the beads if you want too.Finally, you have over 9000 bright coloured 6mm clay beards with a small hole in the middle to thread the string through and make your lovely, coloured bracelet. I was impressed with not only the selection of colours but how bright and vibrant they were, the blues are nice and deep rich blues while colours like pink and yellow really were bright and popped out. My daughter also loved the multi colour ones, so every bracelet had to have one of those in it.Overall, it’s a great fun starter set and was a lovely activity to do with my daughter. Priced at £11.99 I like how you get a great selection and the only improvement I could think it lacked was a set of numbers and letter so the bracelets can be personalised.
