What we really like about these foil/aluminium dishes is their versatility.You receive a pack of dishes each measuring approximately 6 and a bit inches in diameter and 4 centimetres deep.Although their main purpose is to make pies in the oven we actually use them for other things too - I use one for mixing small amounts of paint or glue in for my small projects - they are really easy to wash out afterwards.We have also used a couple of these dishes as outdoor serving dishes for sauces/dips at our barbeque party - and again being foil/aluminium no worries about them getting accidentally broken / damaged and easy to wash out - I did not know before I got these that they can be used in the microwave - I am still worried about trying that - but they get through the dishwasher cycle no problem at all.I have also used a few to make an assortment of pies for indoor family gatherings - obviously the end (cooked) result is only as good as the recipe and chef's abilities - but the pies went down great.

This is a pack of 10 aluminium bowls, measuring 15 x 15 x 4cm.These are great for freezing pies and casseroles in. The sizing is suitable for around 2 generous portions - I made a cottage pie and cooked it in here and froze for another day. The aluminium is quite strong.I’ve reduced a star, mainly due to value for money! Quite pricey, at the time of writing!

My mum always saves the aluminium tins that you get with supermarket quiches and so forth, because they're so useful for reheating leftovers in the air fryer and oven. These pie tins are so sturdy, that I can't see any reason why they can't be washed and reused many times over. They'll keep their shape and last a lot longer too. They're perfect for freezing home baked pasties, cottage pies and more. They are quite pricey, but there isn't really an alternative if you're freezing certain foods. Their advantage is that they are excellent quality, thicker than most others, deep sided, and strong, with a wide rim which is good for joining pastry edges together, and they're made in the UK of course.I didn't know that you can put aluminium into the microwave. This is a revelation. Using these tins means I can bake and then reheat without having to put the food on a plate first. That's most convenient!For two people, or small portions, they're the ideal size. They're so versatile that they can be used for all kinds of baking, reheating, roasted vegetables, desserts, and they can be frozen as well as used at high temperatures in the oven. They're all round brilliant for those who like to cook, those who like to reuse, and those who hate washing up. No scrubbing needed, rinse and recycle them to make more pie tins.

This pack of 10 small pie trays are surprisingly sturdy and strong. The trays measure 14cm across the base and 15cm between the rim.These trays being strong make them perfect to make smaller pies for freezing and cooking at a later date. They are also a great size for cheesecakes and other puddings.Oven , microwave and freezer safe they are versatile. if they were cheaper i would say they're a great option for cooking pie and making one for the freezer but i think unless you could wash them up they're overpriced.

good strong pie dishes - I have used these for both cooked pies (chicken pie with pastry lid) - does a generous 2 person serving, and chilled cheescake. They work very well. I have washed out are reused also - that works quite well too. They are good strong dishes and I expect to get a few uses out of them.
