    These white clips are supplied in a plastic box with secure lid. The clips do not completely close and lock, remaining with an opening of about 1mm. The clip may be opened back to accept cables with diameters up to 5mm. Any less than 2mm might work their way back out again, as the clip does not fully close. They are ideal for fitting onto clean, smooth surfaces like uPVC window frames (or even window glass) and work well for temporary installation of festive lights, for instance. I stress that the fact that the clips do not fully close is not a disadvantage and is an actual benefit for many applications. Multiple round and/or flat ribbon cables can be dressed into position and rearranged or removed easily. Loose cables can be a dangerous hazard, so these clips can make an installation safer as well as tidier.
