My little niece absolutely loves coming round and playing with this. It makes some really good sounds and the games are fun to play. It’s solidly built and really helps build up her co-ordination. It’s simple to set up and even my 13 year old loves playing on it. So it’s definitely something that’s for all ages.Overall I like that it can be powered easily and it’s very well built. Brilliant for a gift for any little ones, and I can recommend it if anyone is after something like it.

This really is an excellent toy which introduces kits into drumming and my grandson loves it. Normally kids get bored very quickly with toys as they get so many gifts these days that they are spoilt for choice. My grandson has shown a greater interest in this drum-kit than any of the other toys and presents hes received, and thankfully it's got him away from playing video games and spending more time on doing something more creative, such as creating music with this drum kit.It comes with a certain number of preset drum set sounds and over 25 songs already built-in, but one of it's best features is that you can connect your phone to this via Bluetooth or via the aux port. This allows kids to play the drums along to songs that they already know, making it so much more fun for them. This has a built in mic and the functionality so that they can store their own music on the unit and play it back. That combined with the coach mode that this has, where kids can learn by following a light up sequence, is excellent to help them improve their drumming skills.It seems to be built really well and is quite sturdy, but still light and compact enough to take with you in the car if you were going away somewhere local. The drumsticks are made of plastic and orange in colour, which I'm not too keen on. It would have been better if they had been made from wood to make it look more authentic. The 4 drum rings and 2 cymbals do look great as they light up when they are hit.The reason why I have marked it down a star is simply because of the fact that this takes 4 regular disposable AA batteries, and no option to connect it to a power adapter of any kind. In this day and age, where everyone is talking about companies taking more responsibility for the environment, I find that very surprising. Nearly everything these days is rechargeable, and most devices come with rechargeable batteries built in, which prevents the constant churn of disposable batteries, which this unfortunately has. I hope they do upgrade that and produce another version which has rechargeable batteries, as if they do them they will have a 5 star product on their hands, even though I think this still a bit overpriced. Ideally I'd like to see this come in under the £50 mark, as psychologically that is a nice round figure that people have in their minds for what they want to spend on a present such as this.

My 5 yo girl is addicted to drums and she is trying to use any kind of sticks and plates to play with them. So now finally she got real drums and they are even better than regular one. This mini set is bright. Good quality. Sounds are quite loud if put maximum volume. Ot is really hours of fun for whole family. So easy to use it, change melodies and all functions. No need even to read any instructions - better to try all buttons one by one. It is great for children of any age and also adults. Maybe I wish it cpuld be lower price, but still - happy to recommend it!

Here is a kid's drum kit designed to introduce a child to the basics of drumming.It features six pads, two drumsticks, a couple of dozen drumming tutorials, various bits of drumming trivia, and bluetooth. There are four built in songs and various drum kits.It takes 4 AA batteries which are included.Each pad lights up, which can make it more attractive to kids, and the LCD display and spoken instructions help guide you through the menus which is great.Playing it, it can sometimes looses the previous sound e.g. if you alternately play two pads, the last one will sometimes suddenly cut out.It has no response based on the power of a strike which combined with the bouncy pads means if the drumstick bounces at all, you'll hear a series of identically loud beats which can be a bit off-putting.The tutorials are good in that they teach you various techniques, however they start at a very slow tempo, but more aggravatingly it plays the beat with you. This would be OK... if the beat were in time with the instructions on the display, instead the beats come half a beat before the display so you can either play in time with the instructions and it'll sound awful, or play in time with the beat and loose track of the instructions.All of this means this will be good as an introductory drum kit, but it is unlikely to serve far beyond a toy and in to much more serious use. Given the price point, these details around the edges being missed makes this a disappointing drum kit.

This is a great toy drum set to engage and encourage your child on there musical journey. The set itself is well made and exceptionally durable which it must be considering it will spend its life being hit and bashed by children! The toy itself is very feature rich with interactive learning, Bluetooth and really engaging lights.After getting my head around all the different settings this is a great interactive toy that offers a lot of features that will entertain your little ones for hours on end. There is also a headphone jack!Headphones not included.

This drum set for children is exceptionally lightweight and easy to move around. Which is both good and bad. It doesn't seem overly sturdy.It's easy to use which it's ideal if you aren't a tech minded parent. But I've seen cheaper options available from the same brand. Currently priced at £59.99 it seems on the expensive side
