5.0 out of 5 stars Impressed
Actually very impressed with this. I'm using it with a Thurstmaster TS-XW and T-LCM pedals. I was worried that it might not hold up to the torque from the wheel or the force needed to push the pedals down. It works great, solid bit of kit. Customisable to the height, distance you want the pedals, angle etc. Also came with a bag of fixing which came in handy to fix the wheel and pedals in place, instead of using straps.
4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy video-racing stand
Firstly the stand is constructed of a high quality, sturdy steel frame. It comes with a lot of various screws and nuts, a set of Allen keys and some Velcro to tie your wires down. The stand is mostly already assembled, the only real modification you need to do is remove some screws on the frame to adjust the height and add 2 knobs to the bottom of the stand to adjust the tilt of stand as well. Additionally you need to adjust the position of the plate where your wheel would sit, and the tilt of that plate as well. So overall the stand can adjusted in various ways to suit your needs. If you have a gearstick, you can attach it to either side of the stand easily, but the tilt of the gearstick is entirely dependent on the tilt of the stand. Basically if you tilt the stand too much, the gearstick would be at an awkward angle and would be too far for you to reach. Also it is essential that you screw everything (wheels, pedal, gear stick) into the stand otherwise it will move around a lot. When braking hard on the pedals, the pedals will move backwards and eventually slip out of the stand. But the screw holes aren’t aligned at all for the pedals, and barely aligned for the wheel and gearshift, and I am yet to find a way to screw my pedals into the stand. On the brightside the stand is surprisingly sturdy and I experienced no flex whatsoever, and in the manual it claims to be able to take low amounts of direct drive wheels, but if you are considering buying this for a direct drive wheel, I would recommend looking elsewhere, as this wouldn’t do a direct drive wheel justice. In conclusion this is a well built stand with lots of customisation, but fails to meet its potential by having some dodgy screw holes. For reference, I use the Logitech wheel and gearstick, and it is mostly compatible.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to set up and sturdy
Easy to set up, sturdy and makes the use of a racing wheel 10X better than using a table! Worth the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent and sturdy piece of kit
The product, although slightly more expensive than other options on Bolo, was easy to set up with the Logitech G29 steering wheel, pedal, and gear stick. It folds up well when not in use, though the gear stick protrudes slightly. This product is recommended for those who want to keep the steering wheel off the desk and be able to fold it away when not needed. It can be put away in under five minutes, which is convenient for shared spaces between gaming and home office setups.
