In our ongoing effort to enhance the comfort of our utility room, we decided to invest in a mat set designed specifically for such spaces. This set includes two mats: a longer one ideally placed against the kickboards and a smaller mat situated by the back door. Initially folded in the packaging, they quickly flattened out overnight, leaving no trace of creases—a promising start.The mats boast a pleasingly simple pattern, adorned with bright colours that bring a touch of vibrancy to the utility room. The construction is solid, highlighted by a neatly finished border that adds an extra layer of refinement. Although the material feels synthetic, it offers a comfortable tread underfoot, which is a crucial factor in a room where we often stand for prolonged periods.A standout feature is the silicone strips beneath each mat, designed to keep them firmly in place on our laminate flooring. This addition has proved effective, with the mats staying mostly stationary, which is essential for both safety and convenience.Maintenance is straightforward, as the mats release debris easily when vacuumed—an essential consideration in a utility space. However, the pricing feels a bit steep, with £30 seeming a more fitting price point than the current cost. Despite this, the mats have served well in their role, providing both practicality and a dash of style to our utility room.In summary, if you're seeking a reliable and attractive solution to enhance the comfort and functionality of your utility spaces, this mat set is a worthy contender.
5.0 out of 5 stars Kitchen / Utility Rugs – Nice Design & Comfortable Underfoot
This duo set of rugs arrived folded in a plastic bag and after unpacking and after putting heavy items on them for approximately 12 hours they flattened out well without any creases. The smaller rug measures 51cm in width by 76cm in length and the larger rug measures 51cm in width by 122cm in length. There is also a slightly larger lager sized set as well.The rugs are available in blue, grey and brown colours and I chose the blue to go with our blue cabinets. All the colours have a simple double border pattern in white and have a neat trim edge which adds additional durability. The tightly looped weave feels comfortable underfoot with a good thickness (I was actually expecting it to be thinner) and the construction feels like it will stand the test of time.The rugs are made from polypropylene which is largely stain resistant (very easy to spot clean) and have a non-slip TPR backing so that the rugs stay in place well on laminate flooring. The rugs protect the floor and adds cushioning to areas where you stand. We are using ours in the utility, but I feel like they also lend themselves to different areas of the house.I haven’t had the need to deep clean them so far, but the rugs are supposedly washing machine safe when using a cold wash with mild detergent. Priced at £38.69 (with an additional 10% off voucher valid until the 30th September 2024) at the time of reviewing, this is quite pricey for two fairly small rugs / runners but they are good quality and I have been impressed with their durability.

I've used these for my utility room that the dog uses as a bit of a mess room. Great absorption and washes out well, without loosing it's shape. Colour could be darker but still looks smart.

These replace in our kitchen a faux-leather padded one that was very comfortable to stand on (washing the dishes or preparing food etc), but sadly didn't last well. These more traditional rugs look likely to be more durable, and are almost as luxurious. They are quite thick, and well-made, and look smart as well. My only reservation so far is that they were supplied folded rather than rolled, which left them with conspicuous creases. These are gradually disappearing, but could have been avoided. The current price of about £35 with discount seems fair.

Got these to replace an ancient old rug and I do really, really like them.They are wonderfully soft and the anti-slip underside works for us without a doubt as our bathroom door is slightly damaged at the bottom, as in don't run your finger along it otherwise you'd get a splinter.Despite this the rug remains anchored in place, we can even hear the splinters rubbing (and trying to catch) along the rug as the door opens and closes, it doesn't move a millimetre.Your mileage may vary but it's worked brilliantly for us.

I was so excited when I got the delivery few days ago because it’s beautiful and gave my kitchen a vibrant look. However the quality is poor; when hot oil from the cooker splashed on it, it burnt immediately the areas of the splashes. It is very disappointing. I wasn’t expecting such materials to be used as Kitchen mat because of exposure to hot stuff. And this was £54, Chei!!
