Very good. Sharp, clean cut.I have a very strong grip but I was trying to cut 20mm beading and wider than the blade so had to cut from two directions.As I had over 50 cuts to do I ended up using a mitre box.However don't be put off by my comment as I do recommend them if you are only cutting 20 or less.Value for money yes. Those are very good shears. I did a lot of projects for my miniature houses with them but ignore those two spare blades because you won't be able to change blades. It is dangerous and almost impossible. I culdn't do it but I watched two guys on Youtube who did it after a lot of trouble so I just decided to give up and stay safe. So once first blade is gone, you will have to buy new pair. But my blade was ok for long time.

This is a good solid cutter with a good sharp blade but I'm using it to cut matches and as you can see in photo the bed isn't flat so they rock about. When I cut them I'm not getting a straight cut unless I can balance them just right on the middle turning piece. I'm not sure if they are all like this or I just got a bad one.

Ordered this for replacing wood quarter round with PVC quarter round. It works great. My hands aren’t as strong as they used to be but these shears cut through the quarter round with ease. Accurate cuts, well made tool and cut down on time spent on project. It’s a great value. Word of caution… the blades are sharp! Always close and lock the shears once the desired cut has been made. Do not leave the blade open. I learned the hard way, even a small brush up against an unguarded blade will cut your hand.

I bought these for mitering vinyl flooring transition strips, cove stick and cap for flash cove. These are very sharp, and come with two spare blades. I would not recommend use for tack strip since the blade would be easily damaged by the tacks, but it will cut soft wood quarter round like butter.
