The media could not be loaded. These mouse traps arrived in a sturdy cardboard box which also contains instructions for use.They’re extremely easy to set (see video) and very sensitive. I used a 1p coin in the video but I had the same result when I dropped a cotton wool pad on the trap.The recessed bait holder means it’s impossible for the mouse to get at the bait without standing on the trigger.We have a small wood next to our garden and the wood mice sometimes make their way into the kitchen. In the past we’ve used humane traps as we really don’t want to kill them but recently they’ve been taking the bait out of these without triggering them. The first night we set a couple of these we caught the culprit. Sad, but we don’t want them running around where our food is stored.These traps are very easy to use, work well and at their current price of £9.99 for six (£1.66 each) they’re very good value so they get 5 stars.

This six pack of mouse traps are good value. Like any good mouse trap, they are sometimes a little difficult to set, because you do want them to go off as soon as a mouse sets foot on them, which means they must have a sensitive trigger, and so you have to be in the right frame of mind with a steady hand to set them. With a little bait (in my case a lump of peanut bitter), these went in the shed and the following morning from 2 traps I had two dead mice. I have not included any photos, as i was worried about prosecution.I have tried lots over the years, and these are very good indeed, maybe not the absolute best, but they definitely kill, which is what you want.

These mousetraps are similar to others used (successfully) in the past but lost during a house move. The discovery of mouse droppings in the loft of our new house prompted the acquisition of these new ones. Still early days, but the traps seem to work - they are quite sensitive to movement when tested with a bit of rolled up paper so should do the job. They are easy to set and have a little tub nicely molded to hold the bait and encourage the mouse to climb on the trap lever to get to it. As mentioned, they are sensitive so watch your fingers when setting/positioning the traps! They have been baited with a mix of peanut butter and a well known hazelnut & chocolate spread - a combination that the mice at our previous house found irresistible, and placed (carefully so as not to trigger them prematurely) at strategic points in the loft. Twenty four hours later they are still clear so maybe the droppings were old ones - time will tell!

Fortunately, or unfortunately for the little critter that was living inside my cupboards in my house, these sets of mouse traps have efficiently finished the job. Thankfully, there are no more nuisances for the time being, and I know that these traps will definitely do what you need them to do.I couldn't resist testing these mouse traps out with a stick, and my goodness, do they have a snap. They recoil really fast, and while they are easy to set up, I wouldn't recommend using these in the presence of other pets like cats or dogs, or small children, as they will find themselves in a lot of pain. They are great value for money and can be reused if need be, and you are not squeamish.

While we very much regret having to use mouse traps at all, our humane traps weren't working (in the sense that the mice kept coming back as fast as we were releasing them) so we had to revert to this type of trap.These are well made, sensitive so work well, and so far no bait has been eaten (usually a small morsel of chocolate) without the trap doing its job.If one really needs to use this type of mouse trap, we can recommend these.

Currently have an issue with rats and mice. Annoying as I keep my property tidy, but these mouse traps seem to be sturdy enough. Will use them in garage, away from my dogs. Easy to bait and set, just watch your fingers. They close hard with a good snap.

These little mouse traps are very well made. I have used the larger version of these with great success on rats in my loft. I’ve found that the bigger versions are not sensitive enough for mice, so I got these. The tread plate is very light and sensitive to the least amount of pressure. I’ve had mouse activity in my shed, so I baited and installed all six of them. I can report that I’ve caught two small mice so far, so I’m very happy with these traps.
