    Pretty much as the title says really. Very low price for a camera that for once, actually has a great app that’s highly configurable. It can record up to 2K resolution, which even at 1080 is good enough for most.I recommend buying an sd card from Samsung or Sandisk but only when it shows the seller is Bolo, as there are too many fake cards on Here. There is cloud storage as an option, but for the price of say a 128GB card, it makes sense to go with the sd card. You can then remove the card and access the videos directly.The app is actually very good, and highly configurable. The camera and app is actually tp-link, not an unknown Chinese company like most on here. So no bad Chinese to English translation, or settings in an app the make no sense in English.Night vision is respectable for a camera of this class, and will do colour night vision if it has enough light, but you really don’t need the colour.The only slight negative is with the motion detection, in that it’s quite laggy. It’s not a deal breaker, the camera is great. But it has an excellent WiFi connection, so that’s not the cause.Setup is easy. The camera creates its own WiFi hotspot that your phone connects to when you’ve downloaded the tapo app from the App Store. Select the camera from the list shown, making sure your sd card is inserted if you bought one.It lets you know what’s happening with voice info from the cameras speaker. Setup was 5 minutes or less.You won’t be disappointed or felt like the app/camera missed a feature out that you needed. It had me fully covered. Cheers!

    I’ve had 2 of these cameras previously and the old ones were quite cheap but did last 3yrs so time for newer model and new cameras and I didn’t hesitate to buy these again after having such good quality first time.I’ve seen a lot of others cameras that are much more expensive & often come with expensive subs.Tapo cameras are so easy to use, set up & work out. I did mine myself! You get step by step instructions on what to do via the Tapo App stage by stage ( easy ans for dummies) and takes literally 5 mins! You do need micro memory cards for these so purchase a half decent one.I had memory cards in old ones I simply inserted into new cameras. You need to move the middle section up and you’ll see where memory card slot is.You connect it to your wifi following the prompts and it demonstrates on the screen what you have to do to connect it to your wifi so be sure you know your wifi password to hand! You’ll need that.Place it where you want it and use the pan/ tilt on the app to place its fixed focus where you want it. The picture quality is excellent and night vision picture quality is very good.I use ours as a doggy cam so I keep an eye on my two spaniels when at work but you can talk through the app to the the unit if you need to communicate with someone in that room when you’re not there. I don’t talk to my dogs as it would set them off looking for me lolThere is a ‘privacy’ mode on the camera app ( you can name each room) and the cam is displayed as ‘kitchen’ for example and has a screen with camera 🎥 icon you can literally tap for privacy mode ⛔️ enabling you to turn off recording when you want privacy & this is so easy to do! I’ve uploaded photos to show you the clarity of images and it detects me and my dogs walking past the living room. I’ve marked the photos to show. The + symbol I’ve circled, adds another camera and you can have them side by side viewing too..Overall, a brilliant bit of kit for very little money and would give the big boys a run for their £££. It does what it’s intended for, very reliable and no issues at all. Simple to use.I totally recommend this and I bought 2 on prime deal day! Bargain!If you’re looking for something really simple, easy to use, captures motion of everything (you can turn off notifications for motion but it’s still records) then this is it. If you want it to capture your back/ front garden/ driveway, you can invert them upside down n fixings come with them to put them on a ceiling. The leads are very very long to the plug so you’ll be fine inverting on a ceiling n trunking the thin lead down a wall etc ..Hope this helps you decide.

    Like knowing I have the front of house under camera. Works well just don’t expect a perfect image when zooming in. Gets distorted quickly when zooming. Adding a SD card to basket is a must. Can sub to Tapo care with adds loaded of features but the moment the trails up the camera reverts to being very basic in the app. Night vision inside house fab but if your pointing out the glass window forget about switching it on. The image is flared. I will note though day mode at night time is brilliant for my needs so no need to activate night mode in my opinion. Easy to use software and you can download video straight to phone which is brilliant. You can cut, edit and choose your download timescale. Fantastic. Would have give 5 stars if the zoom worked a little better. For the price though fantastic.

    I am absolutely buzzing with this camera. I can’t believe how good it actually is. Totally exceeded all my expectations. Not only was the price an absolute bargain, the camera itself is amazing.The quality of the picture is really clear, it has day mode and night mode, both work really well, it has the option to speak and call, programme different views, add additional cameras, appliances, add memory, record, save, photograph, share with other people, motion detection, notifications, it really is worth every penny.The motion speed is the only bit that’s slow, and is blurring whilst the lens is moving, but other than that, it’s perfect for what I need it for. Super Happy. 😃

    5 stars - cheap and very clear images/footage, great nightvision, good sensitivity. We had a diff camera, a lot more expensive, but a lot worse in all the ways possible.The app is very easy to use, clear infos and cheap subscription if you need to storage some memories.

    Compre varias para el frente y patio de mi casa, la imagen es buena, mi Internet es de uso para el hogar y además lad instale inalambricas y para mi sorpresa funciona bastante bien, los materiales son muy resistentes ya que resistieron toda la temporada de lluvia sin ningún problema, usar y entender la App es súper fácil

    I've purchased two indoor Tapo cameras before and have been very pleased with how they work. So, requiring an outdoor camera, i was on the lookout for one that promised to be as good as my indoor set. And then I found out that Tapo made one at a good price on Bolo. So, big surprise, I bought one, it came quickly, it was easy to connect to wifi alongside its buddies, and it works well.

    Llevo casi 6 meses con la cámara y puedo decir que funciona Excelente! la aplicación es súper fácil de utilizar, se configura rápidamente y puedes definir las áreas de detección de movimiento y hacer zoom en tiempo real y en la grabación, lo mejor es que graba videos cortos del movimiento sin necesidad de pagar por alguna membresía, la calidad de video es buena y tiene la opción de grabar en 2K.Es una muy buena cámara para exteriores, yo la tengo instalada en un pasillo del patio en dónde le da el sol directo sólo por un momento en la mañana y no tiene mucha protección para la lluvia, la verdad es que ha funcionado sin ningún problema, el único detalle es que si vas a utilizar almacenamiento con microSD asegúrate de comprar una memoria que soporte altas temperaturas, en mi caso había comprado de las estándar y se me echaron a perder dos en un mes por las altas temperaturas que se alcanzan cuándo le da el sol a la cámara, la camara resiste muy bien el sol pero las tarjetas no.
