    I purchased this mat for dog . It is perfect size and looks well smart in our kitchen .Grey is a neutral colour so it blends in with any colour scheme .Easy to wipe and protects our wooden flooring of spills etcHighly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

    [I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review, as part of the Bolo Vine programme. That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]I ordered the ‘Mavicen Pet Feeding Placemat Mat, 43 * 75cm’ to help keep our dogs' eating area clean and tidy. It arrives as a tight roll, which goes flat straight away once unpacked.It is really good for keeping her bowls in place and has a non-slip base too (non-slip top coating and rubber back, the middle is like a sponge - see photos). When she gets food everywhere, it is easy to wipe the mat clean with a cloth. As regards absorbency, it is amazing. I haven’t ever had a mat like this! Basically instant water absorption.Our cat has a fascination with her water bowl (he looks at himself in it) and he pushes the bowl to get the water to swish over the side, he then drinks it from the floor. This mat has stopped his fun! It starts absorbing water on contact.The photos show how perfect the 43x75cm mat is for accommodating a small dog standing on the mat with feeding bowls. She likes to take food out of the bowl and eat it from the floor, so this is a convenient, clean solution to that habit.Really pleased with the mat, it is a bit pricey at £23.99 at the time of this review. I would have preferred a machine washable version for convenience. However, it’s still a good option for messy eaters, cats and dogs!

    The mat, at the time of review, costs £23.99. I find this price a little pricey. However, it’s not a bad product at all; in fact, it’s quite impressive and good-looking. I purchased the 43 x 75cm mat, and it provides ample space for my cats’ food and water bowls (4 bowls in total), while still allowing them enough room to avoid fighting each other.The underside of the mat features a slip-proof rubber layer, which is beneficial for me because I feed my cats in a hallway—meaning it occasionally gets walked on by human feet and people tend to get a bit upset at slipping on things. The upper side has a surface that absorbs water but dries out quickly. This attribute also makes the mat easy to clean; you can simply wipe it with a wet cloth and put it back in place.Overall, I believe it’s a brilliant pet food mat, but I had to deduct a star because there are likely cheaper options available.
