    Great tire for at a great price

    I got this tire a couple weeks ago and have now put about 100 miles on it. I am very happy with the tire. I did not have that hard of time putting it on my back rim of my gotrax g4. It took me about 20 minutes. I didn’t boil the tire but I did microwave it for 5 minutes. I put dish soap around the tire and rim. What can I say?????? It’s a great tire.

    I followed the instructions for boiling the tire, using a rag soaked in soapy water, and along with the tire spoons and a bit of muscle, it did work. Took me several minutes of wrestling with a hot tire on the floor (oven mitts helped), but it worked! I have a 2 year old Ninebot and the fit was exactly as described. Your scooter will probably ride a little different with these tires, just take care to adjust your speed and turns at first. So great to not worry about flats ever again.

    After dealing with flat tires regularly on my e-scooter, I opted to use a solid wheel instead.Installing it was a bit difficult, but after I got the hang of it, I learned that using a little bit of Vaseline in microwaving the tire makes it a lot easier to install. It's very hot though so it's important to have a towel or something to protect your hand from getting burned.My installation, I took it for a ride, I noticed that the ride was a little bit stiffer and harder than what's the air filled tires. Although it is stiffer I didn't notice that the scooter battery lasted a little bit more than with the air filled tires as well.I no longer have issues with flat tires on my ride, making this a great replacement.The bumpier ride is easy to deal with, cuz it's only slightly more bumpy than it was before.

    These are good replacement tires. Not sure if they will last as long as the OEM but so far they are pretty good.

    We purchased these for our electric scooter that got a flat tire from the kids heavy breaking. I was looking for a solution that would not go flat and this looked to be something that might solve our problems. I will say the installation is no joke!!! I boiled the tires, per the instructions, for between 15 and 20 minutes. Bare in mind that they will be HOT!!! I ended up using a little bit of dish soap, on the hot tires, prior to installing on the rim and it definitely made things easier. I used insulated gloves to get extra leverage and the included tire irons to stretch the tire onto the rim. The installation is very challenging but the end result is exactly what I was looking for. The tires perform well and have a slightly stiffer ride than stock tires. I would highly recommend these.
