Asked to review this drone. Must admit another joy of grand-children is their ability to grasp technical gadgets!Fully charged, we headed for a large open space on the south downs. Loads of fun.Flight time seemed limited, maybe 10 minutes, camera worked quite well with the mainly lack of control.This drone would/is an excellent starter for practice.Its excellent fun!

Sadly the weather is not in my favour today so I can't try this outdoors as it's simply too windy.I have tried it indoors and it's not a bad little toy drone. It does what is expected of it, it flies up, down, left and right. The drone is fast and it is easy to get started. It is good for kids but it will need a bit of practice. Being more of a toy it is not so easy to control at first, unlike professional drones. It does tend to just fly off wherever it wants with only the altitude being easy.Once there has been plenty of practice this will be a great toy for those days out to the park, the beach etc. However, as with all drones somebody has to register as an operator and get a license from the CAA. Flyers don't need licensing but should there be an incident of flying the drone in restricted airspace or in the even of an accident then the operator can be liable so the drone should be flown with caution and not in crowded areas, above people or close to buildings. Breaching any of the restriction can have legal consequences.When flying this drone one should always keep it at a maximum height equivelant to distance from people and / or property. So, if videoing a family playing in a park and the family being 20m away from the drone then the drone should be no higher than 20m. If the drone has a problem it should then hit the ground safely away from that family. However, the height / distance is only guidance and it would be much safer to have less height than the maximum to distance.This drone can be flown in one's private garden but to do so one has to consider the privacy of neighbours and it would be wise to not record video if flying this in residential areas as it can result in costly legal issues.The blades on this drone do hum a little so others will know if the drone is close by. However, it is not loud enough to warn others where there is background noises such as heavy traffic, shouting / screaming kids running around etc.Apart from the legal bits that are required and / or need to be adhered to I only have one slight issue with this drone and that is the batteries. The batteries do get quite hot when used so I would advise that one allows a used battery to completely cool down prior to putting it on charge. As with all similar batteries there is a risk of serious fire thus one should always pay particular attention to them and never attempt to charge a damaged battery.Overall this is nice little toy that has a video camera installed so one can record special events / moments. Although practise is needed to control this drone efficiently it does fly as expected. The quality is good and for what it can deliver it is good value so I am recommending it.

We bought my 12 year-old son his first drone at Christmas and it was quite a bit more expensive than this one, but actually this would have been perfect for the job.I love the fact that the blades are protected by the plastic cage (we've already bent one on the first drone!) It does some pretty neat tricks (somersaults) and is easy to control, it also comes with a spare battery so you can charge one whilst playing with the other. Overall very impressed with the usability and value of this, a great fun remote control toy, perfect for kids.

The media could not be loaded. I've got plenty of experience with all manner of drones; toys, professional and cheaper GPS ones. I honestly didn't know what to expect with this one, being the first folding drone thst I've reviewed that folds in a book type.The first thing you notice is the noise. Flying this in the house was like having the vacuum cleaner going. This makes no sense for a small, toy drone. They're normally fairly quiet.This is reasonably responsive, so is fun to fly around, albeit a little cumbersome due to the hefty cage on it.The controls work well and it's a fairly standard toy drone transmitter that's included. This work without any major issues.The drone itself feels quite cheap and it just doesn't fit well once folded out.You do get 2 batteries included and 10 to 12 mins per battery sounds reasonable.The cage on this is very disappointed. It implies it gives it superior protection, however a small knock at low speed resulted in one peopellet jamming on the cage and shattering into pieces. Changing a prop is then a huge task and quire fiddly.Overall, I'm somewhat disappointed. I can't really recommend it.

This comes packaged in a nice carry case that is handy for storing it. The drone is super easy to set up and it comes with clear instructions. There are two batteries for the drone included and then you'll need 3xAAA batteries for the controller. In the instruction manual there is a QR code for the app which is easy to set up. The drone itself is really light weight so I wouldn't advise using it on a super windy day but it is great fun to use, the controls take a bit of getting use too but that's all part of the fun. I really love this and can't wait to go exploring with it. One thing I do advise is making sure you check the areas of where you can and cannot fly a drone so you don't get yourself into trouble.
