About this item:
GetTested Celiac / Gluten Intolerance Rapid Test quickly detects class IgA and IgG anti-DGP antibodies in your blood. This indicates whether you might have celiac disease. If you have celiac disease, your body will produce specific antibodies against deamidated gliadin peptides (anti-DGP) of class IgA and IgG. These antibodies play a key role in accurately diagnosing the disease. Detecting celiac disease early is crucial, and doing so not only helps prevent further damage to your intestines but also effectively wards off other related health issues.

4.0 out of 5 stars A little awkward to use, possibly accurate or maybe not
It's difficult to assess something like this without a "control" to measure it by. Assuming that it is actually testing for something and that it's relatively accurate, then I would say that it's pretty decent but the process of drawing blood in to the pipette is awkward. The instructions tell you to massage your finger until a large drop of blood has formed and then to suck this up to a specified mark on the pipette. Well, one drop of blood is not going to reach that mark, nor two for that matter. I think I ended up taking about five drops and even then I wasn't sure if I'd hit the mark because it ended up in the rear bulb rather than staying in the pipette tube. Ahh well!Ultimately, I am not sure how useful this is. Gluten intolerance and coeliac disease are different things, if you're suffering after eating gluten, it's more likely that you have an intolerance to it rather than coeliac disease and despite what the listing/description for this kit says, it tests specifically for coeliac disease, not a general gluten intolerance. If you're suffering after eating gluten, I would say go to a doctor but I realise that's a quaint and old fashioned notion now, harking back to an era when such a thing was actually possible. So instead, just don't eat gluten.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy and quick
This test is easy to use following the directions. It’s quick and efficient, but you do need to have been eating a gluten inclusive diet before taking the test.
4.0 out of 5 stars If you're unsure, visit a doctor
This test is easy to carry out with clear instructions. For £19.00, hopefully it is accurate too! Unfortunately, as I received a negative test I can't say if it is accurate or not or whether I had enough gluten in my system to help the accuracy of the test.If you think you could have a gluten intolerance, taking this test could help when visiting a doctor but I would still advise you to speak with your doctor even if you receive a negative result, just in case.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very thorough instructions with diagrams
This test has very thorough instructions that are extremely clear. It is advised to take the test when you are symptomatic. If you are on a gluten free diet then symptoms and the level of disease associated antibodies decrease until they are no longer detectable. So the test I seeresults wouldn't work for people on a gluten free diet.It does not say when to use the supplied cleaning gauze. And after following all the instructions to the letter I could not get the blood up to the level indicated on the pipette.
No estoy segura de la calidad
Donde se pone la muestra, se encontraba sucio y rugosa. No sé si es así o vino defectuoso, por lo tanto no puedo fiarme del resultado del test
