4.0 out of 5 stars Great
For the price point of this microphone you honestly cannot go wrong at all it works a charm simple plug and play but will require you to tweak ever so slightly I would go without a doubt in saying avoid using the Echo dial at all purely it just makes the sound quality you are producing absolutely naff.On a simple plug and play basis it does tick some boxes but with tweaking in different software you can make this microphone sound absolutely incredible for when using online either talking in games or just for generalized chatting and after that you wouldn't think it was coming from a £24.99 microphone. It looks the part and easily used to identify when in use it will cycle through RBG colours and once muted they turn off and the mute symbol will be marked red instead of blue. the Blowout prevention does its job somewhat but could be better. For the price point I would recommend this as a solid budget option for a microphone and in all honestly I will continue using this as it matches my setup more than the previous one.
5.0 out of 5 stars Top notch sound 5🌟
Amazing microphone for the price, has great sound input quality and also has noise reduction mode which is actively good at just picking up my voice and no surrounding sounds. The Touch control mute button is handy for and professional and easy to do with rgb indicators.perfect microphone :)
3.0 out of 5 stars A decent entry level mike - better gamers rather than recording quality.
If you're buying a mic for online gaming chat this one is OK, and would fit the gamer's desk-top aesthetics as it's got stylish lights built in. The plug and play is helpful as you don't need to mess about to get it working, so younger gamers will be able to get it going out of the box, although if you're tech-minded enough you do have a few options to work with. The sound quality is good enough for chat but it does pick up desk noises/excitable mouse/keyboard use during game play, so you'll likely find you need to mitigate that in some way - a thick foam pad or something underneath will help. It's probably not really good enough for recording for streaming etc.The touch to mute function is handy and the lights show whether it's in mute mode - so you won't accidentally broadcast mum telling you your dinner is ready!Overall it's not a bad entry level mic for young gamers who want to join chat and who like the look of the compact unit with light options, but don't expect great sound quality.
1.0 out of 5 stars AVOID AVOID AVOID
Microphone buzzes on low volumes, crackles on high volumes and sounds like a megaphone. Boom arm has no clamp strength and creaks constantly. Build quality of the microphone is acceptable but performance is shockingly bad. If you're going to buy a microphone at this price point, buy used and avoid this low quality garbage.
2.0 out of 5 stars Poor Quality
The product is quite poorly made. The echo function is too much and there is a lot of background noise. The seller does not respond to messages as well. It is quite a pity. Just a waste of money. I have asked for a refund
4.0 out of 5 stars Chillitech USB Microphone: Good Value, Needs Vibration Dampening
I recently picked up the Chillitech USB microphone for my home streaming setup. It's a pretty basic mic, but for the price, it does a decent job. The sound quality is acceptable, and the easy plug-and-play functionality is a plus. The RGB lighting adds a nice touch, although it's not a major feature. One downside I noticed is that the microphone picks up vibrations from the desk quite easily. Adding some sort of shock mount or padding between the mic and the desk would make a big difference. Overall, it's a good value mic for basic use, but if you're looking for studio-quality audio, you might want to look elsewhere.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for home studio
I've been using this microphone for a few weeks, and it's excellent. The sound quality is top-notch, with clear and balanced audio. The omnidirectional design captures sound well from all directions, which is great for recording in various settings. The touch controls are a nice touch, allowing easy adjustments for echo, volume, and mute. The included preventative net helps cut down on harsh sounds. Setting it up was a breeze with the plug-and-play USB connection. Overall, it’s a versatile and high-quality mic that works well for both studio and casual use.
3.0 out of 5 stars It's 'ok', but very basic.
I've used quite a few USB microphones over the years, at all price ranges, and was happy to try this one out.I have mixed feelings really. In a good environment, with no vibration etc it sounds 'ok', but unfortunately there's literally no shock mounting at all, an on it's supplied stand on my desk it was picking up all kinds of rumbles and mechanical noises from the desk which made it pretty much unusable. To be fair, when I put it on a foam pad from a speaker stand to isolate it from the desk it wasn't too bad, but that was a kludge, and I feel that one shouldn't have to take such additional measures on a product out of the box.So, it's just an 'ok' three stars I'm afraid. On a budget, if you can mount it on something soft, it'll be fine. But it really needs an anti-shock mount to make the most of it.
