Or rather, the company behind the Halo Capsule have a problem. A serious ongoing problem that, if unresolved, could well have serious consequences for the company.I first bought one of these vacuum cleaners just over 2 years ago, very much based on the fact that it had an internal bag for dust collection. I had previously had a couple of the famous “D” brand, but I increasingly did not like process of emptying the collection bin and being enveloped in dust and other muck as it fell into the pedal bin.And up to last week, the Halo Capsule worked perfectly; easy to use and easy to empty. However, the battery died last week, which hadn’t been a problem with the “D” brand, lasting for 4/5 years. But the ease of use etc. directed me to purchase another Halo Capsule, even though there were extensive negative comments about the brand, especially regarding the failure of the battery to charge on the first charging attempt.The order was made on Bolo for a new unit and this was received the next day, plugged in for the initial charge, left for several hours and yes, nothing. A red light flashing on and off indicating a discharged battery. However, as indicated above, I much prefer a “bagged” collection system and decided to give the Halo Capsule another chance. I received it today and it’s now quite happily plugged into the charger with the red light flashing merrily away, failing to charge the battery even after several hours.So, it’s a case of re-boxing both units and returning them to Bolo. What a pain! “Bagged” battery vacuum cleaners seem to be a bit thin on the ground (pun intended) and it does seem as though a “bagless” model with the accompanying dust cloud will have to be the next purchase.

We love the fact it is very solidly made and the attachments click in easily. The charge seems to last for ages and it is very easy to use and very light. Delighted with it.It cleans extremely well, is fairly quiet and is very light.

The product arrived on time, but did not work or contain all the items listed. Return requested and have now waited for 3 days (collect with 24 hours - apparently), for Everi to collect the return. Unfortunately no number to call to speak to a human, so just waiting on the off chance that my faulty item will be collected, so that the seller can wait 21 days to issue a refund for a faulty product. Don’t bother. If it wasn’t Bolo I would say this was a scam.

And not much more expensive I'd bought direct from capsulecleandotcom.Liked - attractive clean design, larger container than other stick hoovers, bagged (so less dust escapes when you empty but larger container means you empty fewer times), flexes to go under chairs etc, well balanced in the handDisliked - other reviews quote battery problems and with an internal battery...all you can do is return the whole thing, not just get a new battery, shipping problems (missing bits etc), unhelpful post sales customer service from Halo etc, no HEPA filter, internal battery, claimed 2 year paid refurb service never availableThe big issue? Capsule X bundle direct from the manufacturer at capsuleclean is same price/not much more expensive currently and has the external battery. So ...I ordered and purchased from Bolo (who to be fair, delivered quickly and all elements which Halo seem to fail to do) and am now returning to upgrade.

Bought one a couple of weeks ago as I was looking for a cordless vacuum and this was Which approved. On receiving the item put it on to charge, wouldn’t charge. Returned and received a full refund. Purchased another and the exact same problem.Had on charge for 8 hours and the same problem would not charge. Will be looking for something that works. Certainly not a Halo.

The media could not be loaded. Fresh out of the box and the halo won’t charge - just get the same blinking red light that I now see others have experienced. I’ve written to Halo’s support team and 24hrs later still no response. Would be zero stars if that were possible!
