5.0 out of 5 stars Nice item
Nice and light and folds up really small. It took me a while to realise that the wobble was due to a loose screw in the top. Quickly remedied using the allan key supplied. Would recommend
5.0 out of 5 stars sturdy
little skeptical because its a seemingly chinese make that has hit the camera market quite hard, but i must say for what it is the quality is nice, and it works very well, light weight so when i go for 5 miles it doesnt really get too heavy, quick to set up and quiet which helps not scare away subjects!have used a K&F adaptor ring too, also well made, will consider their products for cheaper alternatives if they have them.
4.0 out of 5 stars Tripod is OK but I dont trust the plastic ball head
I purchased this tripod as a budget tripod for travel that im not worried to put into checked luggage, but will also fit in hand luggage. In this respect it works well. This is not the sort of tripod that will work well for very long exposures of minutes. However its stable enough for a few seconds. The ball head supplied with this tripod is plastic and I dont trust it so I swapped it with a metal one I had sitting dong nothing
5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive for the money
K & F products first caught my eye at the Photography show back in 2019 but I didn't really have a close look at any of their tripods as I was fixated on getting a Three Legged Thing. As it turned out I didn't buy anything and didn't get a tripod for more than a year. With finances tight I decided to take a chance on a K & F tripod figuring at that price it wouldn't be too much of a wrench if it wasn't great. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived to find that it was more than I expected for the money - seemingly very well built and nice and light into the bargain with a quality carry bag. There are only two negatives in my mind - why use all that lovely magnesium alloy and then stick on plastic knobs for the ball clamp and adjustment? Surely it wouldn't have increased the cost too much to make these in the same alloy? The ball clamp did click ominously one time I tightened it so I'm hoping it isn't going to be a possible weak point. Also, the tripod leg that unscrews to make up the monopod - the female thread is metal but I believe the male thread is plastic, why? I doubt I'll use this feature much so not too much of a concern. I wouldn't hold out much hope with customer services - I did email them about something and had a very strange reply. I don't think I'd even bother trying to pursue a warranty claim. TLT on the other hand are great to deal with and solved a problem with my Ellie very quickly. It would have been nice to have detachable feet but I guess you can't have everything at this price point? The tripod has a very large height extension so unless you're over 6' 5" you won't have any problems using it. Lastly I really like the orange colour of the alloy components - it matches my Three Legged Thing Ellie L bracket perfectly! I honestly don't think you can go wrong at this price - mine will certainly suit my needs until I can upgrade to a carbon TLT in the future.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good
The swivel head Tripod was replaced with the 64” Ball /Gimbal version.Overall, pretty good. Feels sturdy, adjustments are easy and quick to make. The locking plate is better, it’s easier to fit onto the tripod, and I’ve personally found it hasn’t (yet) accidentally come undone.
5.0 out of 5 stars Camera tripod
Brilliant really pleased with it.very sturdy and a great price
4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality for the price
Much higher quality and sturdier than I expected for the price. The supplier's customer service is also great - I lost one of the screws and they supplied a replacement promptly, free of charge. This would be 5 stars but for the instructions. The one little sheet mostly tells you how to extend the legs, which is pretty obvious anyway. To attach the head, or set it up with the horizontal arm, your only guide is a video in which someone does it very quickly in a darkened room.I got there in the end though, and it's a great tripod for a very reasonable price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent light weight tripod.
Bought as a light weight and compact for travel tripod to supplement a more expensive and heavier tripod I use for landscape photography. This new tripod not yet used, but appears to be very well made. It is what I expected and pleased with the quality and function of the tripod. Easy to reverse tripod post for close up macro work with an inverted camera. I bought it mainly for use with a lighter weight APS-C sensor camera.Would use for landscape photography on a calm day but possibly unlikely at its highest and extreme setting, but not bought with that in mind. I use a much heavier and expensive tripod for that with my full-frame and heavier camera. However good quality and anticipate that in use the stability will be good with my APS-C camera. Ideal for carrying on a photographic trek. Hope to do that soon once our weather improves!
Good quality
This is a great tripod! lightweight, and easy to use
Solid Construction
Solid Construction, very customizable. It took me a couple of minutes to get it all assembled, but once I did I was surprised how adjustable the tripod was. Good quality parts, I think this would last a very long time
A good lightweight tripod for the price
We like: sturdy and easy to transport. We don’t like: no panhandle.K&F Concept’s 64-inch tripod is lightweight, and a good price for a travel tripod. It easily folds up for transport, and is sturdy when deployed. The phone clamp it comes with is stout as well, and accommodates phones of various sizes. The orange highlights are a nice touch as well. My only wish is that it had an azimuth panhandle, but that’s a common flaw in most travel tripods. It will hold lightweight payloads (a phone, DSLR with a small lens, a small spotting scope etc).
Buena calidad
Materiales fuertes.Solo que no trae las instrucciones completas.Tube que checar en internet.
Light, compact, adjustable, and functional
I'm a very amateur photographer, but I do have a heavy DLSR with a long zoom lens, and I'm often trying to take pictures of birds at full extension, so I wanted to try out a tripod that I could fairly easily take on walks or pack for trips. This tripod seems great so far.It folds pretty small and comes with a nice carrying case. For casual use at home, I can set it to my preferred height and then invert it to tuck neatly into the corner of my living room for easy access - it stands well on all three legs and the legs lock in place. There are three adjustment segments for height adjustment, plus center pole height adjustment - the maximum height is well above my (5'6") head, and the minimum is low enough for resting on a lower surface if needed. The legs have adjustable angles but not infinitely - there are three or four fixed positions. The instructions are actually incorrect regarding how to open the legs back out - the locking clip on this model needs to be pulled up to disengage, instead of pushing down as they indicate. The camera screws onto an included plate - the plate comes clipped onto the tripod and is somewhat confusing, but you loosen the plate screw to remove the plate, then attach it to the camera. Otherwise you can't reach the back of the screw to actually tighten it. This is actually a really nice feature because 1) you don't have to spin your camera around to attach it to the tripod, and 2) you can leave the plate attached to the camera even when you aren't using the tripod, and then quickly clip it back on when needed. The tripod head has a ball level for adjustment, but the camera doesn't actually look level to me when the ball says it's in the right position, so I don't really trust it. It does absolutely help making sure that it's vertical side to side, but my camera lens is definitely pointing somewhat downward, so forward-backward vertical may not be accurate. There is a 360 degree horizontal rotation via the lowest adjustment knob, so once you have your position locked you could take pictures all around and not lose your horizontal line. The second adjustment knob is a full ball rotation, so you can move the camera in any direction in order to pick your position and then lock it there. Both very useful features, and seem to work well. The locking screws do hold tight, even with a very heavy camera setup in place. There is an extra attachment piece to hold a phone, that then screws vertically onto the tripod. I'm sure that's a nice feature, but I don't think it's a selling point. If you're lugging around a tripod, it's not for your phone pictures. All in all, excellent tripod. I'm excited to take it on my next birding adventure.
