I have used the Gemini mini for many years and was really pleased with everything but its size, so was expecting the same good results from the midi.From the first use it was not cutting any of the more complicated dies which the little one did well. I put another piece of card through to give a bit more pressure but that was too much and something broke and is now rattling around inside. The pressure is now uneven.Very disappointing

Doesn't take up much space. Sturdy to use and weighty. Cutting process far simpler than other machines I've used. Only downside is the cutting folder warps REALLY badly after first few cuts so I'm unable to store flat and already I'll probably need to discard it's so badly shaped. Looks like I'll be buying lots of spares ones, which I already have in stock. Pleased with the performance though.

Die-cuts are fine, embossing folders, no. Embossing folders are too thick. They won't go through. It's a non-starter on this machine.

The folder plates warp after a couple of uses. Almost impossible to find replacements. Looks like it’s being disconnected probably because of this reason.

Deze matrijzensnijder is ook nog eens best licht om te bedienen. Is niet te groot met het midi formaat kom je echt een heel eind met de snijmalletjes.
Not happy with the condition
I've used both GEMINI MINI and MIDI - the pressing/ die cutting it does is really very well. The pressure is even and results are marvellous. Doesn't occupy much space. Strudy, durable and easy to handle. However the plates get distorted in no time - this one thing drags down all the good ratings.

Utilisée 10 fois, les plaques sont toutes gondolées. Résistance =0. Est-ce dû à l’absence de support lorsqu’on introduit la plaque (il faut la tenir en l’air, contrairement à une machine Sizzix par exemple elle ne repose pas sur un support).Appareil conçu pour une utilisation plus qu’occasionnelle.Je confirme que cet appareil est de très mauvaise qualité. Je ne rachèterai aucun produit gemini vu la marque jetable
