    As with all these things it takes a fair while to heat up . Your probably just as well to go buy a coffee as its arguably cheaper than the fuel you burn waiting for it to boil

    What a good piece of kit, bought for an extensive trip through Europe mainly so my wife could have the particular type of herbal tea she likes which is rarely available in cafes service stations etc. Takes about 15 to 20 minutes to boil but that is fine, you just plan ahead. We also use it with power pack and this is great too as no need to run the car engine. Not cheap but will pay for itself rapidly as I don't buy coffee on the road anymore

    Being in transport this has helped significantly.Should have bought it long time ago rather than spending so much on takeaway coffees.I’ve been using it 5 times aday and so far so good in a few weeks.No complains except maybe a longer cable so I can utilise it in the back of my van.It’s a 70 cm cable but would like a 140cm.

    Takes about 15 minutes to heat up and it will the keep the water hot.Converted the cigarette lighter connection to a 12v plug and use it on my narrowboat.Well recommended.

    I did write a good review before but sadly I have been conned. After 6 months of use, the switch broke and would not set to the "on" state. Asked the supplier and they kindly replaced it with another. However the replacement suffered the same fate but this time only after the first use. So the switch issue seems common for this product. If you are going to buy then expect it to last no more than 6 months.

    So bought this for camping with a powerbank that has a 12 volt connector.Sucks power at about 80 watts.I bought a thermometer to put in the kettle and wait until it's around 80 degrees which is about right for a cup of coffee.If you leave it to boil to 100 degrees it's just a waste of power and takes around 40 minutes to switch offOverall pleased and will continue to use.

    I got the Portable 12V Car Kettle Boiler for a driving holiday. We like to stop for tea in the afternoon, driving or not.The boiler was great. Plug it in with a full amount of water 20 minutes before we are ready to stop. By the time we arrive, the water is a full boil temperature and ready to make tea.We used it every day and were totally pleased with the performance.Good kettle for the car.

    Efficace unee vingtaine de minutes pour de l'eau bouillante en ce qui me concerne j'ai fais un anneau avec un cintre métallique dont j'ai ensuite replié les pattes afin de pouvoir l'accrocher à la poignée de la portière.Système D fait dans l'urgence et à améliorer mais qui m'a permis de chauffer en roulant pour éviter de tirer sur la batterie moteur arrêté.Contenance environ 1/2 litre de quoi faire 2 gobelets de caféIdéal pour du café soluble ou des repas déshydratésÉtant seul j'ai prévu un petit thermos qui m'a permis de conserver l'eau chaude plusieurs heures
