For several years I was an allotment site manager, I came across all manner of clever ideas that people came up with to make cultivation easier and more successful.One of those ideas was not too dissimilar to these, one of my plot holders would take tapered yoghurt pots and on some he would cut the last half inch off the bottom others he would cut off the last inch. He'd then put the longer bottom pieces into the longer top ones so the bottom part would be held in by the tapered sides and use the resulting pot for brining on his seedlings, when it was time to plant them out all he had to do was push the bottom up out of the top take the little base piece off and pop the soil ball into his prepared holes.There was no squishing pots or trying to tear the sides out of seedling trays just a little push and out they would pop, it was a simple but ingenious idea that was adopted by a lot of other plot holders, me included.These pots remind me a lot of the ones that guy made, only these go rather further along the path of cleverness.The translucent top section is as rigid as some reusable household plant pots and should be capable of reuse many times.The bottom third is silicon soft enough to be able to fold it into the top section but rigid enough to hold its shape.There is plenty of drainage to prevent plants becoming waterlogged and of course the translucent sides mean you'll be able to see some of the root development tooThese are great for brining on seedlings but equally good for getting kids into growing things.They'll love the bright colours and being able to see things growing through the pot, they would be great for a windowsill growing project which brings me to the only thing I found a little disappointing about them there are no matching trays for the pots to stand in, for gardeners that's not a big deal, we'll just use nursery trays just as we would with any other pot but such a perfect little pot for kids or even just for house plants really would have benefited greatly from having trays available.As for value, currently they are £16.99 for 24 pots, that's just 75p each for pots that are reusable and just as at home in the living room, kids bedroom and kitchen as they are in the greenhouse, the guy in me who has been growing for more years than he wants to think about says that is a bargain.Five stars with no hesitation at all.

I love these little seedling pots; the design is ingenious, allowing for the careful and easy removal of seedlings and their roots. The quality is superb, and they feel quite durable.

Di buona qualità e pratiche
Sono di una buona plastica pieghevole, il fondo di silicone è molto comodo per togliere il panetto nei rinvasi. Lo consiglio se si ha intenzione di crescere molte piantine!

Die Anzuchttöpfe haben genau die richtige Größe, um gekeimte und pickierte Pflanzen einen größeren Topf zu geben. Sehr platzsparend auf einen Untersetzter zu gießen bzw.zu transportieren. Sieht sehr ordentloch und sauber aus. Mit den 2 Paketen a 24 Töpfen kann ich meine ganze ausgesäte Pracht von der "Krippen-Stufe" in die "Kindergarten-Stufe" umziehenlassen. (;-)
