    These traps work great! We had some mice get into our birdseed containers, and while standard traps caught some of the bigger ones, there were smaller ones that would clean the bait without springing the traps. We needed something that would catch the little turds, lol, and these traps did the trick. After setting a few in different places, we woke up the next morning to a full round of casualties.The detachable bait cup is nice and makes the trap easier to clean and refill. The traps themselves are super easy to set and empty - no wrangling with a spring lever and being afraid of snapping it on your finger. And as gross as it sounds, the "jaws" do a great job of killing quickly with the added bonus of covering the victim's head so you don't have to see it when you go to empty the trap.I've seen other reviewers saying that sometimes the traps don't kill the mouse, and we've had that happen with other traps (getting a leg caught or catching them sideways), but so far these have a 100% kill rate. I think the bait cup being flush with the pressure plate helps with that: the mouse has to fully step onto it to access the bait and WHAM.tl;dr: these traps are great and worked well to catch smaller (or trickier) mice that were cleaning the bait off our other traps.

    Some mice too small or light. Have caughtmice by the leg and they keep moving until found. Best to place in restricted area - one way in/out.
