We first used this at the local shopping centre activity day. I immediately ordered the same one and one of my daughters started making things straight away. I will definitely purchase more. It has a wonderful range of colours and dries in a good amount of time.Very easy to use and is actually quite calming and keeps adults and children engaged.

This air drying clay from Ixiaoyoo is quite unlike anything I have modelled with before. It reminds me of marshmallow. It’s not the easiest material to work with because it’s a bit less sticky than clay, but with persistence, and probably more practice, I think it will give good results.It’s not really like clay, it is a much lighter weight and has a smoother softer, slightly compressible finish when dry, which is not flaky like clay. It’s more like a rubber. Children will love the feel of it and will enjoy just messing about with it.Warning! Be careful not to get it wet after it has dried because it’s not waterproof. It becomes sticky and the colour comes off.It comes in a very attractive box so it would make an excellent present. You get 78 little packets, two of each colour, so a wide variety of colours. There are also some modelling tools and this clay does work better if it is cut rather than pulled into pieces as it is rather stretchy.The clay needs to be kept moist, so 36 little resealable bags are provided for storage, which is just the right number if you think about it. If they dry out a bit, it says just to add a bit more water.The clay is full of air bubbles, but these disappear after working it for a short time. The surface is damp, which means it’s a bit harder to get one piece to stick to another, but again I think that’s a knack that will come with time.I noticed that the instructions for various models they suggest trying did include a small piece of wire to help join a very narrow neck to a body. Without this, it would not have been able to support the weight of the head. You need to work within the capabilities of the material but more sophisticated modelling is possible for older children and this would be fun even for adults.

My kids love this and there is lots of colours to play with. Only thing is it dries very quick so if you don’t put in bags provided you won’t be able to use it.

Save your money! I would give this pack zero stars if I could. These were bought as part of an activity for our little one to do whilst we were away on holiday. We used them in the UK a few days after we received them so there were no extreme temperatures. The little packages they come in are a perfect size of colour and the little bags you get to pop the remaining in are great so they don’t dry up. However most of the little packs once opened were hard or had already gone off before we even used them. There were at least 2 thirds amongst the whole box that were unusable. We were extremely disappointed to say the least and had to throw most of them away. Our little one desperately wanted to make something with them so we had no option but to use the remaining packages. If I can get my money back for a replacement I will. I’m not sure if this will be allowed due to a lot of it being thrown away. Will update once I’ve processed the return. It could just be that we were given a bad batch but we will see. Otherwise the colours that you get in the largest box and the quality of those that were ok were actually very good and easy to use and clean up afterwards. They dry very quickly once out of the package so you have to get using them straight away. If you left them out over an hour they’d be hard to play and mould with. Our toddler age 3 found this activity fun, the accessories and bits it came with were great and if all were useable I’d say great value for money.
