    The Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic: Mega Set offers a great start for miniature painters seeking to expand or replace their paint collection.Pros:Expansive Color Palette: This set has a good range of colors, providing a solid foundation for tackling miniatures of most types.Superior Flow and Coverage: The paints flow wonderfully from the dropper bottle and has great coverage, minimizing the need for multiple coats, though as always two thin coats, also it thins well and keeps the colours solid.Six-Paint Triad System (Partially Included): The set incorporates the concept of six-paint triads for achieving smooth color transitions. However, it doesn't offer complete sets within each triad, requiring additional purchases for full functionality.Cons:Incomplete Triad System: This set doesn't provide a complete set of paints for each six-color triad.     Good quality. But will probably need a clear varnish to protect the figures once painted. When building the stand push the pieces to at the end to avoid breaking the wood. The dividing sections are quite thin. Colours are good and good value.

    You get a lot of paint for your money with this set so although the initial outlay is high if you can see past that it is good value for money.I was a bit disappointed that only one fine brush was supplied, if that's all you have base coating a group of figure will take a long time. The paint bottle stand might be fine for a lot of people but I don't have room to have my paints out permanently and so have to pack them away after use so I much prefer an good strong box, which this set has.I know it is the style with miniature paints from AP and GW to have wacky names for there paints but I personally prefer a more normal name.The paints work the extra tones and effects are a nice addition and can add an extra dimension to your figures. Unless you are painting on an industrial scale the set should last quite awhile, although the more popular colours will need replacing.Overall a nice set.

    This set is comes nicely packaged and is ideal for gifting.The bottles are nice and clearly labelled and have a really nice dropper that doesn't drip before you squeeze.I really like the coverage, of the paints, the pigments are nice and rich and allow you to dilute and mix colours incredibly well and give great coverage whilst maintaining smooth and rich colour.The stand is fairly basic but functional and lets you select your colour at a glance, rather than have them in a box with you have to rummage through, so it's a nice addition.This set is ideal for the beginner as it has so many varied colours that you would pretty much be able to find all colours for your project here. I would have liked to have seen a miniature included but that's not a deal breaker.Great set of quality paints.

    As a hobbyist painter this set is a must get for any fan of the hobby. From sci-fi mechs to scheming fantasy rodents this set includes everything I need to paint my armies above and beyond table top standard. The paint quality is high and each bottle came with a mixer bottle to prevent clumping and variation in paint color. Overall an amazing purchase and I would definitely recommend considering the value for the money.

    Tolle Sammlung mit Mässigem Ständer

    Das Set beinhaltet viele Farben für die Figurenmalerei, sowie einen Pinsel und einen Ständer, der erstmal aufgebaut werden muß.Die Auswahl der Farben ist gut, allerdings fehlten mir dann doch wieder die ein oder andere Farbe, die ich in anderen Sets hatte. Das muß jetzt aber nicht schlecht sein, erweitert halt die Auswahl. Aber eigentlich sollte man mit dem Set einiges an Farben haben.Die Flaschen sind "groß", ich hatte schon Sets vom Anbieter, wo die Flaschen nur halb so groß waren. Auf der anderen Seite benötigt man für die Figuren ohnehin meist nur 1-2 Tropfen, also kommt man wohl eine Weile gut aus - wenn man nicht gerade große Landschaften damit gestaltet.Schön ist, dass im Set auch Spezialfarben dabei sind, wie Metalle und Washings.Es gibt auch die übliche Malanleitung in Englisch. Ich empfehle Neueinsteigern aber auch den Weg über Tutorial-Videos, obwohl das ganze keine Zauberei ist. Man braucht nur ein gutes Auge für Details und etwas Fantasie.Was mir an dem Set nicht so gut gefallen hat war der Ständer. Die Bauanleitung ist mit aufgedruckt und nur Teilweise verständlich. Außerdem ist die Oberfläche des Holzes irgendwie seltsam. Als wäre eine feine Wachsschicht drauf. Fasst sich jedenfalls nicht so schön an.Der Zusammenbau selbst ist auch sehr fummelig, weil das ganze natürlich nach dem Klemmprinzip funktioniert und das letzte Stück dann sehr viel Geduld benötigt, bis alle Ebenen in das Seitenteil reingefummelt sind. Etwas Kleber ist hier übrigens auch nicht verkehrt.Die Abstände zwischen den Flaschen ist sehr klein und die Halter sind Halboffen. Dadurch sind die Zwischenräume sehr dünn und brechen sehr leicht. Zudem stehen die Flaschen nicht wirklich fest in den Halboffenen Plätzen und gerade die vorderen rutschen leicht heraus, wenn man das Display bewegt.Vom Platz her ist es aber schon Optimal gelöst, auch wenn man die Namen der Farben so oder so nicht erkennen kann. Hätte man das Ganze im Prinzip auch in einen Kasten packen können.Zwar gibt es einen Ständer für Pinsel der verschiedenen Größe, allerdings kein Reserveplatz. Also Farben, die man noch dazu kauft, müssen wieder woanders gelagert werden.Aber eigentlich sollte man mit dem Set schon ziemlich weit kommen. Ich würde es allerdings nicht unbedingt als Einsteiger-Set bezeichnen, da es zum einen sehr teuer ist und zum anderen auch sehr viel bietet, was überfordert.Von Army Painter gibt es ein schönes Set mit Figuren und die dazugehörigen Farben. Das ist für den Einstieg perfekt.Profis werden dieses Set sicher gut finden, da es viel Auswahl bietet.Was ich bei den Army-Painter-Flaschen generell nicht so schön finde: Die Dosierspitzen schütten in der Regel erstmal dünne Farbe aus, bevor die "richtige" Farbe kommt. Also gut Schütteln. Am besten mit einem Gerät.
